Fits Whole Foods 5 gallon “Tritan” water bottles perfectly
I’m very pleased that this fits the Whole Foods “Tritan” five gallon cooler bottles. I tried another brand that didn’t work at all. The threading and size are perfect.

Mostly perfect. BUT
If it wasn't for the slime that grows on these caps and ultimately leaches into your reservoir, I'd have given them a 5 star rating. Simple to use. Durable. Mostly perfect. BUT, as others have stated, I experienced the same "slime" problem. Until I bought these, I re-used the disposable plastic caps that came with the bottles (I just took off the sticker & I had a re-usable cap). The first time I used these caps I noticed the slime, and a slight mildew smell to the water. I removed the caps & cleaned them both with a mild bleach & detergent solution. I allowed them to dry (covered with clean paper towel, bottles upside down). Once I refilled them, the same thing happened. Again I cleaned & dried them. This time I used the old plastic caps...NO SLIME. I tried these caps again, only this time I completely emptied and sanitized my dispenser as well. Once again the slime returned. A google search told me that it's slime mold, mostly harmless in small quantities. No thanks. The purpose of drinking filtered water is to avoid off-taste and contamination. These fit great, and they seem like the perfect solution, but I'd rather not ingest mildew scented slime water. It doesn't happen with our Brita in the fridge or counter-top, and it didn't happen with our large water bottles before switching to these (nor does it happen when switching back to the original plastic caps). Searching for another solution.

Good as a temporary cap if kept upright
My water dispenser has its own reservoir which the water is pumped into to chill, so I use these mainly as bottle caps to keep water from spilling into my car during transport. They are overpriced at $23.00 which is what I paid for two. I wish they did not have the hole at the top as that valve is weak and useless since water can splash out. A little splash beats plastic and styrofoam (the seal in the snap caps) near my water. Also the snap caps start to shed plastic after a while. This will do till I find something better

TRRWC02 works with Primo 601141 see photo
This review is for the TRRWCO2. I have a Primo cooler with the plastic spike / probe (model 601141) and the TRRWC02 slid right over the plastic probe with no water spillage. The blue parts of the product seem to be made of stiff but flexible silicone the translucent parts of the product are made of stiff plastic. These lids fit on my 5 gallon snap top ArrowHead Eco-Sense and Sparklets bottles as well as the threaded bottles from various local water stations. Removing and re inserting the threaded plastic ring is fairly easy and the lids feel snug. I would not recommend using these for water transport, but they are great for putting bottles on water coolers without spillage.

Removed white O ring inside, works fine on my PRIMA water cooler
Week one completed with new no splash caps. They work fine. Will likely buy more when the time comes. I thought they were expensive at almost 10$ each, but they work, and that's what I needed. Mine came with a coupon that if you write a review, they will send you one more. Great incentive. Looks like I just saved myself $10.
