Prety close to perfect
I have tried over a dozen earpieces in the last decade. I've grabbed the most popular models, gotten access to devices that never quite hit market, tested gimmicks and even impulse-purchased cheap models that looked like they might suit. I rejected almost all of these immediately either because of fit, tiny speakers or because people couldn't hear me when I talk. The one model I really quite liked out of the old lot was a Plantronics I picked up about 5 years ago. Sadly, these things don't last forever and the battery life dropped to the point where it was no longer reliable. Then I, ahem, crushed it in my bag by accident and that was that. But having had luck with a prior Plantronics earpiece and seeing the good reviews on this one, I gave it a shot. I wasn't disappointed.First, it fits my ear because it has that hook that goes over the ear. I pace when on the phone and I gesticulate a lot. I've never had luck with the earpieces that you stick in and are supposed to magically stay. I always need an over-ear hook. This has that and it's comfortable. I have days where I spend 6 hours on the phone. For some of those calls I'm doing the talking and for others I mostly listen. Either way, I can tolerate this device on my head for that time without pain or discomfort. Even with my glasses competing for space on top of my ear, the earpiece doesn't bother me. It is made of flexible rubber, so it accommodates the shape of my ear and glasses without any problems.Being on calls for so long can put strain on my hearing. Tinny speakers that distort and volumes that force me to reach to hear... those are the things that drive me crazy about other earpieces. This model has clear sound for an earpiece. It's not as good as wearing headphones. And cell phones have pretty bad sound overall because of the way they compress audio. But for an earpiece, the sound is quite good. Poor sound makes conversations difficult but they're also fatiguing after many hours on the phone. It's also good in the car, where road noise might intrude. I haven't tried it with the windows open or anything, but I can drive on the highway and still hear people just fine. This device has really good sound for a bluetooth earpiece. The other big question is how well people hear me when I speak. I've had headsets that weren't loud or weren't clear or were inconsistent. Being asked to adjust your mic every 5 minutes isn't fun and frustrates clients. This is where the 5200 shines. I've never had better audio than from this thing. Once I switched to it, all complaints about my mic position or volume disappeared. I can use it in the car with all the background noise and people can hear me just fine. There's apparently some noise cancellation on the earpiece. I don't know how well that works-- people can tell there's background noise when I'm in a noisy place. What seems to be true is that my voice comes through and the background noise doesn't intrude. The mic on this is so good I bought one for my partner because he often has trouble with being heard on calls too. Maybe this year I will get one for everybody in my office, if only for the sake of my ears when talking to them.If you get this earpiece, get the case. The charging case is pretty convenient for keeping the battery life up. I really do get 7 hours out of it at a stretch, and putting it on or in the case to keep it topped up means I basically never worry about whether my earpiece is charged. More importantly, this thing is fragile. That flexible rubber arm is so comfortable but it's also a weak point. My old Plantronics broke exactly there, and that one seemed sturdier than this one. So get the case to protect this thing in your bag.I have used the usb device for connecting this to my computer. I've tried in on Mac and Linux but not Windows. It worked perfectly on each and I can use this earpiece for video calls now, which I love. The range on this is odd. Generally, it is superb. It is so good that I put my phone down and start wandering around and when my call is over I can't find the phone anymore. That's a weird problem to have. Where the range falters is when the phone is on my person. If I put my phone in my pocket and the earpiece on my head, I sometimes get a little breakup. I'm not sure what that's about or whether to blame that on the phone or the earpiece. At any rate, I try to keep the phone in a breast pocket instead of a waist-level pocket and that solves the problem. It is annoying though.Setting up the earpiece for me was quite easy. I don't recall the steps, but I don't think I looked at the instructions. I think it was straight forward enough that if you've done it with other devices you'll figure it out. Other than that, the interface on this earpiece is a bit of a pain. I'm not sure what the main button does and it seems to different things at different times. The mute button definitely works, though, and I use it a lot. The problem there is that when I hit mute a voice says "Mute on" or "Mute off" and that sound is layered on top of the sound coming through the device. Sometimes I can't actually understand whether it said on or off, which is annoying. Likewise when I turn it on, it connects pretty quick as I stick it in my ear but then it wants to tell me how many hours of talk time I have left when what I really want is to hear the phone call I just answered. These are minor complaints, though. To sum up: if you need a bluetooth earpiece, this is the one to get. Minor complaints just prove to me this thing is pretty great. After all, if it weren't doing all the important things so well, I'd never have time to notice the small things.

Reliability
This is my 3rd time buying this earpiece....the 1st one lasted for years. The 2nd one i accidently ran over with my car...it came apart and cracked in 1 spot. I pressed it back together and it still worked! Ill keep as a back up but bought my 3rd one. Excellent product! Holds great charge! Easy to use.

Plantronics Winner Again
I had to replace my Plantronics Legend after 4 years, so when my office phone system added a Voyager 5200, i researched it and found the same unit for myself. Well worth the added costs.

both of us love this product and I would recommend this to anyone ...
Ordered two of these, one for myself and another as a gift, both of us love this product and I would recommend this to anyone especially with the app that comes with the headset which makes it even more easier to make sure my headset is up to date and if I happen to misplace it I can hit an alarm on my phone and locate the headset. I love the headset but if I could locate the headset with my phone when the headset is turned off that would be even better, in order to locate the headset with your phone the headset has to be left on which I think would be just a waste of the battery if it has to be left on all the time otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Amazon has recieved the item back over two weeks but still delaying refund. I won't buy again
it doesn't hold a charge, it cuts off after half an hour. The other person can't hear you. Amazon refuses to refund after sending it back, even with the warranty. I will report this to BBB and have my bank reverse the charge

Awesome Headset!
I love this headset. I had 4 discovery 975's over 6 years and loved them. The only reason I had 4 was because I would eventually destroy or misplace them. Finally, I decided to upgrade earlier this year to the voyager edge. Like the 975, it has a charger case and simple design and I assumed better technology. No. They were very frustrating. They would often disconnect during important calls and would frequently refuse to pair when turning them on. I gave up and decided to look further up the product line. The Voyager 5200 is outstanding. It is less convenient to carry, the case is large compared to the edge, but they sound great and are so much more reliable. The fit is the best par!. Other reviewers have complained that they did not seal or fit snugly. I like a snug fit myself and always use the largest earbuds on every set I've owned. The largest earbud on the Voyager 5200 does not have the snug fit I am used to, but after the first day wearing it I realized that my ears never grew tired or sore. I forget that I am wearing it and a few times have startled myself when noticing it in the mirror. It seals just fine, great sound quality without the sore ear. Also, because they fit over the ear they stay in place and I never have to adjust them when moving around. Love the Voyager 5200!

So Far So Good
This was the complete package. Ear Bud, Charging Case, Combo A/C-Car power adapter, cables, Dongle. Just about everything you could ask for. So far it is working great.

Does not fit comfortable therefore sounds is not the greatest
I tried all the ear adapters and none fit correctly over the ear. Also the noise cancelling seems to interfere with your own voice because people on the other side complain to not hearing what you have said.
