Awesome for boats too!
Every boater with a T-Top or available roof space should have at least one of these Greesonic Panels! Period! I got these for my boat after doing some lengthy research. I looked specifically into solar because it checked off a lot of boxes for me. For starters, battery maintenance! Batteries are expensive to replace to keeping them on a charger can easily add 3+ years to their life. Secondly, ease of use. I keep my boat parked at the far end of my yard where I don't have an electrical outlet to plug in a battery charger. Panels mount to the roof and stay on the boat all the time. No more messing with extension cords and lugging around heavy battery chargers! Anywhere I park it, batteries are taken care of thanks to that big fireball in the sky.To keep 2 marine batteries completely charged and on "float" I could have gone with a 50 watt panel but I opted to get 3 of these 100 watt panels for the following reasons:1. They actually fit my roof perfectly.2. Having 3 allow me to keep all my electronics ON ie... VHF radio, GPS,FishFinder, Radio and Bait well pump without draining any battery.3. They are thin enough to lay right on my TT-Top canvas and not damage anything. No welding necessary.4. I can charge my cell phone and other gadgets!Your mileage may vary depending on your electrical demand and or size of your boat. For me 300 watts was the magic number. It gives me so much piece of mind that I can anchor at an island with the family for hours turn on whatever I want for as long as I want and I will still be able to crank the motor and go home. They are so thin and stealthy you would never know I had them up there. I’ll try to upload pictures. Now on to the actual review. These panels are perfect and I LOVE THEM! I decided to go with these Greesonic panels because they use the new ETFE material as opposed to cheaper PET plastic which scratches easily and reduces their efficiency. I have read countless reviews and forum posts about these thin Panels and Dollar for Dollar, Greesonic is the best! The build quality on the three I received were very good. The Jboxes were all sealed well with plenty of length on the cables. All for corners have grommets so you can tie them up like I did to the roof. I may want a bigger boat someday and these will definitely be coming with me!

Ordered six - one has to go back
I recently ordered six of these solar panels for use on a boat. Although I haven't installed them yet (it's winter here) I tested all six with a digital multi-meter on a sunny winter day. They all produced around 21 volts and current ranging up to 6.2 amps depending on the light clouds passing by and the angle of the panels towards the sun. The panels seem well made and I like that they are all black. One problem - one of the six panels was delivered missing the cover to the junction box. Inside the box looks like black plastic caulking. I have contacted the seller but haven't heard back yet. If he can't send me the cover we'll need to return the panel. I'll update this review when I hear backUpdated 02/17/17 - I just received a new junction box from Henry at Hencol and I replaced the missing cover on my panel. Fits great. Hencol responded quickly to remedy the problem. Good job - excellent customer service !!!!Updated 9/28/17 - The six panels worked great over the summer. We have a super large bimini. Installed all six on top of the bimini. My canvas guy did a great job of sewing on zippers with covering flaps and also added covered cable channels on the top of the bimini. Very professional looking - no visible wires on top. The panels did a great job - we averaged 2.4 KWH/day incoming to the batteries through a Victron 50/100. Often we'd see over 3KWH. This is essentially the same expected averaged output of the much higher priced Solbian and Solara panels. The panels handled all of our house electrical requirements - we even had them powering the hot water heater through the inverter. My setup with pictures is in the cruisersforum. Now I'm thinking about getting the 150 watt panels and using the extra juice to run a water maker and then I'm off the grid entirely.

Failed after less than 1 year.
I bought two of these for our camper trailer. I used Eternabond tape to secure them to the roof. They are very sturdy and give the same voltage and amperage as my Renogy mono panel does. So far, I would highly recommend them.Update 5-28-18: One panel has totally failed and has stopped putting out any voltage. The other is only giving out 16 volts and .3 amps. Basically unusable power. Very disappointing.

very disappointed! Used on my boat 2nd time
very disappointed! Used on my boat 2nd time, and it stopped charging. Unplug everything, multi meter checked all connections. Panel did not come out with any volt or amp. It seemed like a decent product. But it did not hold up.

Great product, no regrets.
Excellent Design. Delivers the voltage and Amps as rated. Like the black color - Camouflages well over black surface. Thin, lightweight and Semi flexible. This product has met my requirements and expectations. Good work GreeSonic!
