I purchased some curtains from Argos a few weeks before I got these from Amazon, and there really is no comparison. The curtains from Argos do not feel as good when it comes to quality of material, do not look as good, and let a ton of light through, which is problematic when trying to get a lay in during the weekend.I have had these for over a year now and there is literally no damage at all, no tears, no loose stitching, they look like they'll last a very long time. Putting them up was easy, you simply run the curtain pole through the metallic hoops and you're good to go.Overall, I think these are the best curtains you'll find on Amazon for the price. I looked around quite a bit at different stores and different prices and in the end went for these ones, which I certainly do not regret. as you can see there is nothing black out about them!!!!!! I ordered the greyish white colourway to match my sons new bedroom, the fabric looks and feels like lovely thick quality and initially when they arrived yesterday I was very pleased, we put them up last night and this was what my sons bedroom looked like at 7:20am this morning. first picture shows my hand the other side of the curtain, that's how non black out and see through they are, second picture shows the black out roller blind that we additionally fitted behind it half way down, as you can see there is nothing black out about these very see through curtains, this is a complete misleading scam to get people to buy the curtains

They are incredible for my daughters bedroom!!! Don’t let in light, feel soft. I love them I would order them again and again, I’m wondering if they have different colours I’ll get them for my bedroom

I have brought 4 pairs of curtains this month from the Range and brought these curtains as I was looking for a cheap pair. I paid about half of what I paid at the range and so wasn't expecting much. However they're great. They do block the light out and they good great. Would recommend.

Arrived as expected with prime delivery.The curtains are true to size and although they don’t feel the most expensive they do the job exactly. They are good enough to block out all the daylight needed.Will purchase again!

Had normal dark grey curtains before that let quite a lot of light through. Decided to upgrade to these black out curtains in black to help assure the light stays out. My window is unfortunately right by a street lamp, and with these curtains you don't even notice it. My room used to seem like is was daytime 24/7 between the sun and street lamp. But now I actually get to enjoy a bit of darkness at night!When there is direct sunlight on them, they are no better than normal curtains are at night. But when it's nighttime the reign supreme!I bet two layers of these curtains in black would assure a perfect black out all day and all night (minus of course the right above the curtain rod where sunlight always manages to squeeze through.

I read mixed reviews from different sellers about these curtains. We've got them to block light in the hallway. Door curtains were too short so we've gone for these. We really needed something slightly longer but anything longer would have been made to order.They block the light just great and the hallway is very dark. We have a sweep around staircase and it's so dark when you come around in a morning. Great purchase. Someone sad the creases didn't drop, well like any curtains that have been in a packet for who knows how long, they need ironing. Would buy again.

Bought these due to the good reviews but wish I’d hadn’t now.Bought for our new house back in October, opened and all seemed ok. Only put up today due to delay in moving in for our daughters bedroom and it’s not cut straight! One curtain goes from 54” to 55” and the other from about 55” to 57” it looks so wrong in her nice new bedroom, so disappointing and especially after we can’t do anything about it as we bought them over 2 months ago.Will have to fork out for new ones now, which I’m not impressed about!
