Stopped working after 1 year of use
Had to keep resetting the time because the time wouldn't stay set. After a year it stopped working, won't charge or come on.

I really like this HD camera from HQR
I really like this HD camera from HQR. Installation into my car was a snap. The detailed instructions were very helpful.I love the auto on feature. This is where if the camera is plugging in to the cigarette lighter and charging (with the accompanying charger), the camera will automatically turn on and start recoding when the car is turned on. On the other hand, it will also turn off when the car is turned off providing it is plugged in. The camera will charge up fully in about an hour and a half and be ready to go. Another feature I appreciate is that I can turn audio recording off. Additionally, the video will record over the oldest video on the SD card automatically. This is handy. And I can set the length of each video, which makes viewing the recordings simple.The image quality is really impressive. I'm pleasantly surprised the camera records in genuine HD. Also, it's tiny and doesn't obstruct my view through the windshield.The only con I have found is that I wish the camera had a speedometer and recorded how fast my car was traveling.Overall, I'm satisfied with this HD camera from HQR. I enjoy the protection of knowing if anything happens on the road I will have an unbiased witness.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Poor Quality - Very Disappointed
While I wasn't expecting top of the line, for a starter camera, I had hoped this would do a little better, and live up to some of it's claims.It claims to record in 1920x1080 Full HD, however the inability to view detail and overall grainy video suggests the video was recorded in a lower format, then stretched to fit the ratio.There are dashcams that legitimately record in 1080p, and this is not one of them.The suction mount was very sturdy, included 8GB SD card (Class 6) and the 360 degree rotating freedom of the cam are really the only good features out of this package.However where it should count, it disappoints, and for the protection of consumers like myself, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this, even as a starter cam.I received this at a discount or at no cost for my honest and unbiased review.

Excellent!!!
Got this dash cam for my new car and it does amazing any time of day! The videos in 1080p and it has a clear and sharp picture even at night. Unit comes with everything you'll need. Setup is quick and easy with one push of a button. The only thing I'd recommend is getting a 32 or 64gb memory card instead.
