For Wider Cubicle Walls
This is great for the wider cubicle walls. I'm not sure what size mine were, maybe 2.5" or so?? Works just as it says.

Misleading measurements!
I bought this so I could hang up my coat and scarf in my cubicle area. Our cube walls are 3.25" thick.Other hooks I found are not deep enough or are plastic and prone to break easily. Or they're way overpriced. I have a heavy coat, so I wanted a metal hook. I even tried my local Office Depot and let's just say I see why people shop online because the stores don't have any inventory anymore, it's all online!So after finding this hook, which the description says is 4.75"D, I thought I found the perfect item!The Cubicle Hook (Black) (6.5"H x 5"W x 4.75"D) arrived quickly. I opened it up, looked at the package and the measurements on it say 2.25" on one end and 1.5" on the other end...WHAT WHAT WHAT???!Who measured this thing and and put it on Amazon? It's very misleading. The measurements don't even match the description at all!In the end, neither side fits over my cube wall and I returned it immediately. It's my first real disappointing purchase on Amazon, so I'm not discouraged. But I decided just to use our coat closet at work, oh well!

It states its for a cubicle. However it does not fit.
