Fun toy
Bought it to work with our son's samsung galaxy player. It pairs and works well. The downside however is that there is no variable throttle control. It has 2speeds, go fast and stop. It is difficult to control in tight quarters, but works great out in the wide open yard.

The product is definitely not ready - think alpha version
Android app not only leaves a lot to be desired in terms of features (the main complaint is no throttle control), but also does not work properly for features that are there, like device tilt control.The car itself looks flimsy, the shell is super-thin and fragile, and the steering will break after a couple of rides no matter how careful you are.The battery pack is tiny and proprietary while there is enough space to put 8 AAs there.If you are a mechanical+electrical+software engineer feeling strong urge to apply your skills and spend a lot of time - this is a perfect product for you. Otherwise, stay away at all costs. It'll break your son's heart when it breaks.

Brakeability
This R/C car is a great toy to play with. it does have a few draw backs...1. the body (especially the spoiler) is subject to breaks.2. the battery charge does not last long.3. the app does not always work very long and is subject to jam.4. finally it is difficult to find replacement partsOtherwise it is a great toy to play with.
