Great color, and a wonderful sturdy feel to it. I made gauge with a larger needle than the pattern called for. I’ve wet-blocked the sweater and have enjoyed wearing it. I would purchase this yarn again.

Great yarn to knit with and works up BEAUTIFULLY but.....there are major differences in the thread consistency. It goes from very thick and bulky to extremely thin.. It makes items knitted with this yarn looks rustic but if you are going for a more consistent look, you will do better to use another yarn. That said, it has a really great feel. It also does not have the tendency to knot up or get all jumbled together like some of the other cotton/linen blended yarns I have used before.I knitted a simple triangular shawl using this yarn and it turned out stunningly but the finish item looks almost threadbare in spots due to the thickness inconsistency. The yarn itself is very strong and should hold up well to normal use of this item. This is not an item that I would gift unless I knew the person would be able to appreciate the yarn instead of the look.
