One Piece - Collection 26

It's anybody's guess why Blu Ray has been delayed for so long for One Piece, the highly detailed and highly colorful anime that makes HD screens sing. Some blame Toei, who had to greenlight Funimation to do BR release, even though Avex released Punk Hazard on Blu Ray in Japan. But come on - the series has been (possibly) HD since Foxy Davey-Back days, or so it would seem by looking at the streaming versions. Will we ever get BR back to episode 200 or so? Cuz that's over 15 sets (I think). And does Toei have enough elements to convert the 4x3 first 200 into true HD? They released them on BR in Japan in SD so...let the confusion flow.But all of that is moot in light of the enjoyability of the show itself, which kicks over into its highest gear in the Dressrosa arc that begins here. I feel that Dressrosa was Oda's last chance to just go nuts with ideas, since the story afterward adheres to his outline that he came up with before even starting OP. In any case, it's crammed with ideas and characters and plots and subplots and fun, which somehow some people manage to totally not enjoy. To each his own - I just don't wish to share a planet with them.And an extra kudos to Funimation for including both DVD and BR in this mixed set (and then the sets that follow) as opposed to forking into DVD-only and BR-only. I'm just hoping that physical media can survive long enough that we can own One Piece complete, but I'm not sure I myself will survive that long.

I like that One Piece is now on Blu-ray and you get both DVD and Blu-ray in one case.

Happy with this

Had something like Jy Jelly or Vic Salv. All over my order. All over tge slip . It was sticky. Had 2 put gloves on and wipe it off.

So the box doesn't hold the discs well, and it was only the second half that had Blu-ray discs instead of the whole thing. Whatever to keep prices up.

Arrived in Mint condition. This is the end of Punk Hazard leading up to Dressrosa. Great set!

I purchased this with the understanding that it was region free (as it says in the title).It was not, in fact, region free. Upon putting the disc in my UK PS5, it immediately came up with an error that it was a Region A disc. Upon checking the box, as well as the other 3 One Piece blu-rays I had ordered, I found that it was not compatible with any of my hardware.As a show, One Piece is fantastic, and while this arc drags on for a while, it still has some fantastic moments. However as a purchase, this was unacceptable.

This isn’t region free at all, it’s a region A disc set

This is not a good one peace dvd season at all because it is half blu Tay and half dvd and the Blu-ray. Discs don’t. Even Mack. Send. At all you have got disc 1 two disc 4 and the overtones are. Blu ray witch are. Blu ray 1ore blu ray 2 and that’s not good at all wen you are graying to watch the season Duse the Mack enemy sens at all so you don’t no haw it’s going to end at all wen the two blu rays are not even don’t Mack enemy sens you think that they wood al lest be 5 and a 6 so it wood al lest mask sens and season 27 and 28 don’t even make enemy seance some one needs to fix the poblano and mask season 26 27 and 28and enemy over season the same as it was befor witch was all just dvd but at lest it all made sense I don’t no what to do I have burte a lot of one peace season 26 to Troy and Mack it all just dvd but it did ent were I don’t have. Disk 5 ore disc 6 of season 26 and I bet season27 28 are just the same as season 26 so they to don’t mask enemy sender at all I hope you can this the problem if not then there will be a lot of very unhappy one peace Byers.
