Prym 254 cm/ 100-inch Tape Measure Profi Fibreglass, Yellow, 1 - Pack

Probably the best tape measure I have owned. My previous one was a hand me down of the old cloth type variety. This one feels nice and is very supple. It also seems very strong, no doubt because it is made of fibreglass. At 100 inches, it's plenty long enough. To be honest, I feel a bit of a prune writing a review for a tape measure (!), but if you need to get a new tape measure then this is one to buy.

Alternatively the clips are a hassle to hold steady whilst trying to read the number(over engineered)Now I didn’t want to spend silly money on what is not going to be used that often. But I also wanted to make sure it was strong, clear and things like the end caps wouldn’t fall offThat’s why I ended up choosing this productPros:-clear numbers-nice and wide to hold easily-measures in centimetres and inches-seems sturdy-very longCons:-it’s pretty thin and light. But this also means you can see the numbers coming through the other side. it totally measured up to my expectations.

This is a good tape, does the job as expected, and nice and long. But the metal protective bits on the ends soon come off. I re-secured them several times, using pliers, then metal punches, and progressing to hammers etc. But they still came off, so I eventually gave up. Can still be used without them.
