I had been looking for a string of pearls to give as a gift ever since my girlfriend mentioned how elegant a pearl necklace looks while we were watching a movie. Admittedly, I was a bit overwhelmed trying to determine the size of the pearls and the length of the necklace. I wanted to keep the gift a surprise so I didn't want to ask too many questions about such things... After going to several jewlery stroes without feeling I had found the "right" gift, I decided to look online. That is when I found the Pearl Source on Amazon. After a half hour or so considering the exact necklace I wanted to get her, I finally felt like I had the "right" one and purchased the necklace. The necklace arrived in just a few days, and once the shipping wrappers were removed, the beatuiful necklace came in a quality box that she still keeps the necklace in when she is not wearing it. When I surprised her with the gift over dinner later that week, she absolutely loved it. Her eyes lit up and she smiled with gratitude for the thoughtful and "out of the blue" gift. The necklace is a quality piece of jewlery, sturdy and attractive. The clasp is a bit challenging to figure out, but then again I am a man and the ladies seem to know how these things work... My girlfirend is petite and I found the 16" length and 7-8mm pearls were a perfect compliment to her natural beauty. I am delighted to see her wearing them when we are together either in a casual or semi formal settings and even just around the house from time to time on the weekend. She loves the necklace and if she didn't already have one I'd buy her this one again in a second. Super pleased with the helpful information to pick out the "right" gift, the nice pckaging and the quality of the necklace. Cheap hasp was very difficult to hook. Necklace is very nice. To bad hasp is crap!

Not happy at all. I really loved the necklace. I’ve worn it a handful of times and the string just disintegrated this weekend. It will cost me as much as I paid for the necklace to have it restrung. not happy

I purchased this necklace for myself as I have been looking for a larger pearl necklace (9-10mm pearls) in a choker, 16", length - something very difficult to find! This necklace is everything I hoped it would be and more as the pearls themselves are lustrous, free of obvious defects, supple, silky and affordable in their larger size. The necklace is double knotted between the pearls themselves and the clasp, though. bit of a challenge to manipulate, seems to be very secure. I also wanted a necklace that would stand on its own as well become a piece of jewelry that could be used for layering with chains and pendants, something that this does very well. As I am a pearl girl, I plan on wearing mine with almost everything from jeans to dress up occasions. Great purchase!

Beautiful quality and luster.of the pearls. The only difficulty was with the clasp which did not click in place. When I mentioned this to the seller, I was given information which allowed me to, easily, correct the problem. I am Very pleased with my necklace.
