Product is easy to install, but that isn’t saying much as they only require 4 countersunk screws per bracket. They’re well made, with precise fabrication & a clean coat of paint. The main problem is their thickness, which is not really sufficient to completely eliminate flex. So consider carefully the material you’re going to be supporting, & the amount of overhang you’re attempting to protect from potential damage.

I was on the fence about these as I had seen some mixed reviews, but I thought I’d give them a shot since my application, added support between sections of a large ‘L’ desk, didn’t require as much as a countertop. The reviews that have said these aren’t study and bend either have completely unrealistic expectations or are just plain false.These are amazing, they are extremely sturdy, complete overkill for what I need, but I’d rather have more support instead of not enough. I put all my weight on these and they didn’t flex at all.When I was looking at these the size and thickness was tough to get a handle on from the pictures, below they are on a butcher block that is 1.5” thick. Hopefully the reference will help if you’re right to gauge how large they are.

As others have mentioned, there is some flex in these. I have not used any of the other more expensive brands for comparison however. For my purposes, installing butcher-block it’s fine. I have them spaced 16 inch on center. One note however, to allow for wood movement, I drilled The holes slightly larger and used washer head screws.

I ended up reinforcing my ikea table with these. I drilled out a few more holes for screws and installed a sim rig :) solid product 👌

The taper in the counter bores were a little rough but easy enough to smooth out. Install easy and seem to be pretty sturdy.

These were way heavier than we thought. They look great on the side of our library ladder. We didn't use them for function, just for looks!

Looked all around checking prices and this is the cheapest I could find. Worked great and very sturdy. No reason to look elsewhere just buy these

I was a bit cautious in purchasing this 2-pack of braces due to the low number of reviews, but they ultimately arrived promptly and were exactly as advertised. The braces themselves are very sturdy and provide excellent stiffness to prevent bowing of the counter top. I was able to install them successfully on our new butcher block counter bar overhang. One thing to keep in mind before you purchase these is whether you have adequate surface area to mount the braces with the 4 screw holes. I had to affix some scrap wood to the back of my cabinets in order to provide more surface area to attach the braces securely.
