Probably like many of you, I’ve been searching for the perfect water bottle for a couple of decades now. Every time I think I’ve found one, a glaring defect emerges. It leaks, it doesn’t hold enough, the opening is inconvenient, it’s too wide for the cup holder, etc. etc. etc. I began to think I was searching for a unicorn, something that doesn’t exist in my reality.And then Prime Day came along. I wasn’t planning to buy anything, but I browsed anyway. And there, among the rest, was the Simple Modern Summit water bottle. Eighteen bucks normally, and even cheaper on Prime Day? Eh, I’ll give it a go. The worst that could happen is that it’ll end up in the cupboard I call Graveyard of Disappointing Water Bottles, like all the rest.I chose the 22oz, which is the largest capacity that will still fit into my Toyota Corolla’s slightly-too-narrow cup holders. It’s actually a really good size, as it’s enough water for a few hours out and about, without being too heavy to carry comfortably in one hand.The double insulation is extremely effective: it’ll keep fridge-cold water cold for 24 hours in a car sitting in direct sun during a ridiculous heat wave. Maybe even longer, but I ended my test at the 24-hour mark, because let’s not get ridiculous. I also often have tea in it, which will stay hot—very hot—for many hours, including overnight. Be careful with hot beverages: I leave the lid off for ten or so minutes to let it cool enough that I won’t burn my tongue (again) before closing it up.I like the different lids that come with it, including the chug lid you can get from the company for only the cost of shipping. Unfortunately, there were no lid colors other than black available when I ordered, but whatever.I did get a bottle washer (I chose OXO’s water bottle washing kit, which is cheap and comes with three pieces for all the parts of the bottle), because it’s almost impossible to effectively clean it otherwise. The bottle body is NOT dishwasher safe, though the lids are.Okay, I’ve rambled long enough. In closing, I’ll say that, not only is this bottle The One, I appreciate it so much that I bought a second for myself in blue and recommended it to several people. All this, and I’ve only had it for less than a month!As always, I’ll update if my opinion changes, or it suddenly explodes on me.~~~~~~Update after seven months~~~~~~Amazon sent me an email about this review, so I thought I’d update my thoughts.I still use one or both of my bottles daily, and I’m still super happy with them. In fact, I was extolling the virtues of the bottles to a friend just yesterday.One of my chug lids broke, but I had a tendancy to hold it at its weakest point, so I’ll count that against both me and the lid.Other than that, everything is still great.~~~~~update after over two years (December 2020)~~~~These bottles are still The One (cue Shania Twain earworm for fellow GenXers)! I’ve dropped each a few times, so they no longer look pristine, but they still work exactly the same. I still recommend them to anyone looking for a water bottle or travel mug, and the wide variety of available colors mean you don’t have to be boring.Still five stars!

THIS WATER BOTTLE IS AMAZING!! Sorry, I had to type it in all caps because it's just that true! Every day as I'm using my water bottle, I think of just how awesome it really it and how I should have bought it so much sooner!! I only use my bottle for water so can't speak to hot liquid temperature, but it maintains the temperature of my water even if it's sitting inside my car (black interior) with the sun beaming right it. The 32oz bottle I have does not fit in standard cup holders, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me and it shouldn't be for you. This bottle doesn't get scratched up easily and I don't have any dent either. Great bottle, portable, awesome color, overall 10/10 would purchase again (thinking about buying another bottle actually). The only small complaint I had was that Simple Modern didn't offer a spout lid for drinking, only the flip top and the metal screw on cap. I opted to purchase a Takeya brand spout top and it fits perfectly onto this bottle, no spilling or leaking etc.

When reading the reviews, I was worried since people had A LOT of complaints about this bottle and its ability to compare to higher priced bottles (like a Hydroflask) in its quality and such.But, I’m glad I still decided to purchase this bottle becuase I LOVE it so far. Not only is it beautiful in the Blush color, but it also is amazing.The bottle comes with two lids (one chug and one snap coffee lid) and I chose to buy a third option separately (which was the straw lid, which I highly recommend) which I love. One of the things that attracted me to Hydroflask is that the bottles are versatile and have many lid options to fit many needs. Sadly, I am right for money and couldn’t justify $60+ on a water bottle. So finding this company and the fact that they do the same made me instantly intrigued!The bottle retains ice/cold temperature well. I filled it 3/4 with ice and filled it with refrigerated water. 24 hours later, only half of the ice melted and the water remained icy cold. I’m a stickler for my water being ice cold and hate when bottles can’t retain ice. People complained about this not being able to, but I see NO issues, especially if ice remains after 24 hours.It is leak-proof, leaches no metallic taste into the water, and comes in SO MANY color options.I only wish there was a way to purchase this bottle WITH the straw lid so that I didn’t have to buy it separately; but even with the added cost of the straw lid, this bottle is STILL much cheeper than a Hydroflask and is an amazing bottle.I’ve never owned a Hydroflask, so I can’t say how it compares, but I would imagine that they would compare almost identically!

This is honestly the best water bottle I’ve ever had. I use it every day, and get so many compliments on it. People always ask if it’s a “hydro flask, and where they can find the certain color” and I always recommend them straight to this listing. Not only is it HALF the price as the name brand, but it works just as well, if not better, and looks better too. Many complained about an issue with the lid leaking. The flip lid is the BEST accessory for this, and it’s really easy to fix the leaking problem. I too had this happen, about a week after purchasing this. I noticed the lid wouldn’t screw on tightly, and when I drank? It would leak. After further inspection, I noticed that the inner silicone ring (on the lid) was just loose. I pushed it back into the top as well as I could, and what do ya know!? It worked! Whenever I’m asked about this bottle, (or even when I’m not) I bring people straight to this page. I love this water bottle, and anyone else would too!

Good wide mouth for soup, kept soup and coffee hot for several hours. Haven't used it for very long

Been using the bottle regularly for a few weeks, here are my thoughts:-When I add things like ice or frozen fruit into the bottle to cool drinks, I can slightly feel the coldness on the surface of the bottle, so its not perfect insulation. I usually get 3-5 hours for keeping liquids cold, it doesn't really state a time of how long it stays cold on the product page, so I can't fault them there.-As for hot liquids, I usually use it for green tea which I only use water at 80C, not boiling, I can say it stays hot for about 2-3 hours, and stays warm until 5-6 hours and after that its kinda luke warm. But still plenty enough time as i don't really need to keep hot liquids more than 4 hours.-Coating of paint on the outside is quite thick, very nice coating, nothing to complain about there, just be wary about placing on things like cement or pavement as it can get scratched/chipped off. (They do sell silicon boots to protect the bottom which they include a nice gift voucher to redeem for a free one on their site, just pay for shipping)Overall, if you aren't looking for a thermos grade insulation and just need a few hours to maintain drink temperatures, this works really well.

La sto utilizzando solo ed esclusivamente con bevande fredde e mantiene inalterata la temperatura per molte ore come promesso. Ho acquistato la versione da 22oz perché volevo contenesse più liquido. Piena pesa 1,012 kg. Non proprio leggerissima. La superficie è ruvida, quindi tiene bene la presa. La uso in ufficio quindi non ho molto l’esigenza di portarla in giro. L’ho prestata a mio marito per un’escursione e si è trovato bene. Unico neo per il momento riscontrato, la mancanza di un cordino per portare la bottiglia in giro. Ho risolto con una fascetta ed un laccetto. Per il momento tiene bene. Vedremo quanto durerà. È mia intenzione acquistarne un’altra, ma nel frattempo spererei che aggiungessero questa opzione. Ah si in macchina NON ENTRA nel vano presagomato per L’alloggiamento delle bottiglie. 4 stelle perché si può sempre migliorare anche se onestamente 5 le meriterebbe visto che non perde una goccia d’acqua ed anche il tappo per bere direttamente una volta chiuso è perfetto! Ma il laccetto...

Got this any used it 2 days and it simply did not keep the water cold. Put bottle in freezer empty first time and used ice water, and in 2 hours it was basically cool. Second time I putmpty in fridge overnight, and filled with ice water again, only to get same thing. Read the rave reviews before buying but am returning it as it did not keep water cold

La bottiglia tiene poco piu di mezzo litro ed è molto carina. L'effetto termico dura abbastanza, anche dopo 4 ore l'acqua è fresca. Ha il tappo grande legato alla bottiglia e un altro dal quale si beve, da applicare. La scomodità sta nel continuare a cambiare tappo, quando si beve ce n'è uno e per chiuderla ermeticamente ce n'è un altro. Io ovviamente quello per bere (non essendo legato alla bottiglia) l'ho perso, rendendola inutilizzabile perché l'imboccatura è molto larga ed è difficile bere senza lavarsi!
