Item operates exactly the opposite of how it should. Instructions say wave hand over sensor or tap unit to get lid to automatically open -- neither of those actions cause it to do so. We ended up having to manually open and close the lid to throw things away. Ironically, moments after we had done so and left the room the unit would then open and close the lid "automatically" about a dozen times (sometimes more, sometimes less). Unit would do this randomly too - even if we had not been in the room for quite some time.... Never when we actually wanted the lid to open though.

I purchased this little trash can for my bathroom. My dog likes to get in the trash and I am constantly having to pick up tissue paper and q tips. Even though it opens automatically she is afraid to put her head in to remove items.It works great! Opens and closes easily.I am very satisfied with my purchase!!

It’s nice to a family with pets. My dog sometimes will stick his head into trash for looking. This trash can saved me! And it’s looks nice and clean, smart and sensitive. Good quality. We like it!

So important to keep bacteria away from air, this was the solution for bathroom (kleenex, wraps, cottons, etc.) mostly during a cold and avoiding contaminated used kleenex being exposed.The kick thing is awesome! Easy to clean and quick change of bag, easy to recharge… And also, looks nice in our white tones /minimalistic decorated bathroom.

This is a great touchless garbage can. I am using it in my kitchen. Although it is small, it is large enough to hold 2 - 3 days worth of garbage for a 2 person household. I have been using it for a couple of months and have only had to charge it once. Although it does fit inside of my sink cabinet, the sensor keeps opening the lid because my sink is deep. Therefore, I turn it off with a simple push of a button when not in use. I highly recommend it for the kitchen, however, if I were wanting one for the bathroom, I might choose one a little smaller.

This is a terrible product . It is a rechargeable only unit that opens and closes at random with no one near the trash can in total darkness . You can’t use batteries in the rechargeable unit . $40 worth of sheer junk !!! Don’t buy . I’ve had one replaced after one month and it’s worse ‘nn

Purchased this can and love it, but stop charging, I was trying to contact the seller for the warranty but I cannot find the info to contact. Amazon did not provide the seller info for warranty. Like to get a replacement but there is no point of contact.
