I'm Yours: An adoption story from a mother's heart: Volume 1 (CareFully Crafted Children's Books)

Not at all what I was looking for. I wish someone had mentioned that it is aimed at children adopted from another country and race. If that is your child's situation and you believe in God this would be a good choice.

Cute book/story, but the illustrations, in particular, specifically depict a white woman adopting an Asian child (nothing wrong with that). Yes, the story itself can be applied to families of all nationalities and skin colors, but in my experience, for the intended target audience, it's not as easy for adopted kids who look just like their adoptive families, to relate to the story since illustrations are a large part of young kid's learning.

Book was ok. I really liked the last half of the book but the first half was very much for a older child adoption, not newborn so it did not work for us!
