Highly detailed figure!
McFarlane toys has made some epic action figures over the years, but I think they could have made all the mortal kombat characters, but the ones they did make are epic.

I don’t know much about Kabal but my kid does. Christmas gift for my 8 year old and he loves it. Figure is very detailed and the weapons are a hit. This is used as an action figure and has held up from play.

MK11 Ka-bowl Cut!
MK11 Ka-Bowl CutAlright, so I was initially psyched about this figure. I like Kabal, he’s been a character I’ve played as and gotten stomped by in this franchise. So, since McFarlane Toys beat Storm Collectibles to a Mortal Kombat Kabal figure, I was happy to grab this figure.ARTICULATION:I’ve reviewed a few of the McFarlane Toys on here, mostly the DC line. If you’re familiar with this line, you know what you’re getting in terms of articulation. The articulation is nice, but it feels like there could be a bit more added to it. The legs specifically bother me when it comes to McFarlane Toys. A thigh swivel on these figures would make a world of a difference (in my opinion)ACCESSORIES:[1] Display Base, that reads: “Mortal Kombat”[2] Hookswords, Kabal’s signature weapons, no doubt someone could apply these weapons to another figure, or maybe throw together a Mavado custom. Who knows.Oddly enough, these hook swords might take a bit of some maneuvering to fit into Kabal’s hands. They’re made of some flexible material. As shown in one of my photos - It will bend or warp holding up even the lightest of a figure/opponent for him.So, trying a hook slam pose with him? Probably going to take some effort or craftiness.Would it have been cool if they tossed in a head swap? Yes.Would it have been cool if they tossed in a severed body part (per figure)?I think so.Would it have been cool if they tossed in an effect that made him look like he was in motion or slashing with his swords?Very much so.APPEARANCE:So, in MK11 his hair has quite a few options. It’s usually long-ish. That did not translate well into figure form with this version. Why they didn’t just modify the hair they used for Liu Kang is baffling. Or hell, just give him some kind of ponytail attachment. His hair, it bugs the absolute hell out of me. He looks like she’s rocking a bowl cut, or got his style from a Dutch boy haircut.I cannot imagine what they were thinking with this but it looks silly. I can only hope that if they give us a non revenant / or before he got charred extra crispy figure they give us a different style or look.I hope like hell they give us another face mask as well, when or if they do some repaint or another in-game “kostume”/“skin” gets released. His outfit is killer, that rags or tattered parts of his outfit are made of a soft material. So it hasn’t hindered too much of the articulation and it looks damn good.CONCLUSION:Until Storm Collectibles decides to do some more MK characters, this is pretty much your only option, next to a custom. There’s a small super deformed or caricature version of him out there. But it’s not the same.I will gladly toss this guy out and buy a better version IF that day arrives.Personally I got my fingers crossed McFarlane might tackle the 2021 Movie Line and we’ll get the movie designs.Because I’m not entirely impressed with this figure. I don’t regret buying it, I’m glad I saw what the figure looked like for myself. I popped him back in his box, and don’t really see myself putting him on display. But in hindsight he’s an easy pass.If you’re a fan of the character, his look in general, or collecting all these Mortal Kombat 11 figures, he’s still a nice addition to your collection, and the price isn’t so bad either.

So expensive
But worth it, seeing the look on my grandson’s face when he saw it. He keeps on his desk top!!!

Boxing
Box it came in was small. So the top tab of the box was bent. Not too much of a big deal because I took the figure out. But for those who like their boxes mint.. beware. Great figure though

Definitely an affordable collectible.
These action figures are definitely a collectible that is set to a affordable price. Normally these sell out pretty quick and when they do the price will double or even triple. The detail on the figures We're very well-thought-out. Definitely a must buy for collectors.
