Shower Blocks - Mango & Passionfruit Solid Shower Gel, 100 g

The smell is gorgeous, it lathers up well and doesn't make your skin feel horrible and dried out like traditional soap bars do. Well worth the money, have just ordered the multipack of them so I'm stocked up for a while!

I only used it once so far, but thought I would leave a preliminary review, since I already have skme strong impressions.First of all, I feel like the soap makes my bathroom smell like a Lush store. Now, I really like the smell, so it's not really a bad thing, but I definitely think that it's something to be aware of. And this was even before I ever used it, just straight out of the box.I'm general, I like using it, definitely could be convinced to give up shower gel. My skin doesn't feel dried out and I found using is pretty easy. I thik the true test will be how long it actually lasts.

I bought this because I want to reduce my plastic use but I don't like the 'squeaky' feeling I get after using a bar of traditional soap. I've been using Dove bar soap in the shower but fancied something a bit more exciting so thought I'd give this a go. The smell is nice but not amazing. Quite subtle. The bar doesn't lather much but it seems to go a long way anyway. Onto the problems: when it's wet it's extremely slippery. I had to dig my nails into it to pick it up for a second go. And when I rinsed it off I felt that familiar squeaky feeling you get from soap. I don't know if it dried my skin out because I used an in shower moisturiser straight after. All in all, I feel like I've just bought an extremely expensive bar of soap

Feels a bit too concentrated for me. Quite oily feeling bar that takes a while to lather up. Better in a soap bag. I stopped using as didn't like the scent but the other one I have is lasting months, so much better than soaps and other similar products. So I may persist and try more scents.. prefer the mint one to this.

This soap is so lovely, it feels very nourishing snd doesn’t dry your skin out. I have very sensitive skin prone to dryness, this soap was fine for it.

Love the concept and the smell is gorgeous!!Unfortunately, the rest didn't live up to my hopes. Despite the description, it feels like soap - you get that horrible squeaky feeling on your skin that you get from soap after using it, and I found it really drying.For a family of four, it only lasted 8 days which for £4.50 is pretty terrible value for money when most shower gels cost £1 and last a month in our house.It's also instantly irritating on your privates! For both blokes and ladies, we all reported the same thing and felt you can't comfortably wash your bits without the lather causing irritation within a couple of seconds - ouch!Gutted, I had high hopes. But my quest for plastic free shower gel continues....

Beautiful lingering smell on your skin. Not to strong but a pleasant smell. Would certainly buy again as I thought it was value for money. On the downside I felt it didn’t last as long as other soaps.
