Won't Shatter in the Micro; Markings Remain On
I am so over the anchor hocking/ pyrex measuring cups. They aren't made of the previous material and the markings keep coming off after being used and put in the dishwasher. These take time to arrive and are pricey, but I don't have to keep replacing them because the lettering is gone. I also don't worry about them going into the dishwasher.

This measuring cup seems to be very well made and good quality. I do not think the measurement lettering/markings will rub off like the cheap Pyrex they make now.

Short and Stout.
A little shallow compared to the Anchor and Pyrex cups, and I found the handle to be a bit short. However (all in all) they were fine.

It is Ocuisine. It's what is pictured.
This is not Arcuisine. It is Ocuisine. It's what is pictured, with black lettering.Thick sturdy glass. Stout & short. The lettering seems ''baked'' on top of the glass. It will probably last at least 5 years, but this is only a guess. There is a small amount of bubble defects in the glass. It probably won't matter, though.I haven't used it with high heat yet.The measurement is correct. It is made in France & delivered from the UK. It's overpriced at $24, but I haven't found anything else as good in a 1cup measure.

The real Pyrex!
Glad the someone is still making proper borosilicate glass. Corning should be ashamed to be continuing with the Pyrex name without the actual glass that made that name mean something.

Better than Pyrex
Better than Pyrex because Pyrex won't make borosilicate glass for the US market anymore

Oddly Squat Shape
I bought this Arcuisine Borosilicate measuring glass because it's handy to have a second measuring cup to use if the first one is in the dishwasher. I have an old Pyrex measuring cup that I've used for decades, but I didn't want to buy Pyrex brand again since their newer production is no longer borosilicate glass. Too bad such great brand as Pyrex sold out quality for profits. I found out that Arcuisine still made borosilicate measuring cups and so I bought this one. Unfortunately (as seen in the attached photo), the shape of the Arcuisine cup (left) is much more squat than the vintage Pyrex measuring cup. This means that the 1-Cup line is much closer to the top of the measuring cup. Between the wider cup width and the smaller buffer between the 1-Cup line and the top of the Arcuisine measuring cup, I find liquids tend to slosh out much more easily. Not fun if you're carrying a cup of boiling water or broth. Pyrex got the design right.
