WHEN I FIRST SAW IT, I WAS SHOCKED BY HOW SMALL THIS SOUP SPOON WAS.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE SIZE OF THIS SPOON BEFORE PURCHASING THEM.IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SERVING SOUP SCOOPS THIS IS NOT THE ONE YOU WANT TO ORDER.IT'S SIZE IS ONLY 1-1/2" WIDE, LESS THEN 1/2" DEEP AT THE DEEPEST POINT IN THE MIDDLE.MEANING, THIS SPOON WILL NOT HOLD MUCH LIQUID FOR SERVING.I WISH I CAN POST A PHOTO OF THIS SPOON ㅠ_ㅠ TO SHOW BUYERS HOW SMALL IT IS.IT'S JUST A REGULAR SPOON SIZE !AGAIN, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD SOUP SPOON,THIS ONE IS TOO SMALL FOR SERVING ANY SOUP DISHES.QUALITY OF THE SPOON IS NOT BAD BUT IT'S "NOT" WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.I WILL KEEP IT BUT IT'S NOT BECAUSE I LIKE THE SPOON BUT BECAUSE OF THE HASSLE OF RETURNING PROCESS.PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE BEFORE ORDERING, IF THE SIZE IS GOOD FOR YOUR USE OF SOUP SERVING.QUALITY OF THIS SPOON IS NOT BAD THOUGH,THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND DON'T WANT TO RETURN IT EITHERMEANING, THIS SPOONS NOT LARGE ENOUGH FOR SERVING SOUP DISHES.AND IT'S PRETTY EXPENSIVE FOR IT'S USE.BUYERS WHO IS LOOKING FOR A DECENT SOUP SERVING SPOON,THIS IS NOT THE ONE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE SIZE.I MADE A MISTAKE NOT CHECKING THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THIS SOUP LADLE SPOON.

I was very disappointed in this purchase. I bought these last minute to serve at a party with a Bohemian theme. Clearly, I did not read the description well enough… However, they did not describe the product well enough. I gave them two stars because the spoons (and I use the word spoon deliberately) because they look like decent pieces of equipment. HOWEVER, to call these "ladles" is very deceiving. They are approximately the size of a large spoon that comes in a silverware set. No bigger! Needless to say, I was not able to use them to serve at our party.

not a ladle.... a couple of soup spoons. Not what I expected but maybe I didn't read carefully enough. otherwise well constructed

Dissatisfied with the size. They have a varnished finish???? not something I would use as a utensil. The are the size of a soup spoon!!!!

These are great soup spoons and they look really good too! Glad I ordered as many as I did!
