The CELTA Course Trainee Book

Haven’t finished it yet but I find it very helpful.

This book is great if you are about to study the CELTA course. It is like having the teacher 'in a book'. You could learn the CELTA content with this book alone if you have plenty of teaching experience in the ESL industry. For beginners, I would say this is a must-have.However, the only slight downside is that there are no answers given. It's full of exercises, but it's like having a school textbook with no answers which you then have to rely on the tutor to tell you the answers. During the course, they will give you similar exercises which you do with your classmates, but if you are looking for answers to these exercises, there aren't any.I did find this useful as a post course 'top up' and reminder of things that you should do in the ESL classroom, so it's still proving useful for me, especially with the stage aims and procedures!

I would like to get rid of it, totally useless purchase
