Disappointed These Failed
I was really hoping these would work for some stripped screws in my bathroom and kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a single stripped screw out with these bits, and I'm pretty handy with my tools. I'm amazed it has such a good overall rating. What I really need is a dremel tool to carve slots in the screw heads so I can get a flathead into them. I was looking for a cheap alternative with these bits, but these were just a waste of money.EDIT/UPDATE: I found a great and simple way to remove stripped screws that works consistently. I just use a rotary tool like a Dremel with a circular saw blade bit to carve a straight line on the top of the stripped screw. Then I simply use a flat head screwdriver or drill bit to remove it. Easy and works every time, so far at least, just wear goggles.

Didn't Work For Me
Did not work for me. I hate to give bad reviews but this screw remover did not work for me. The instructions were basic so I thought that the job would be simple. On the back of the package it said to reverse drill with one bit, and then use the other end of the bit and also reverse. The drawings showed the stripped screw coming right out after those two actions. However, no matter how much I tried nor which size bit I used, the drill simply stripped the screw head more and more. Eventually I dug around the screw head and removed it with some vise-grips.It looks simple and easy on TV but it didn't work for me. I just threw away ten bucks.

These work great, take care not to overheat the drill bit!
These bits drill thru the hardest of screws like a hot knife thru butter. They saved the day removing some self tapping screws that either were stripping out or busting the heads off. But these backed them out with ease.I used the drill on high speed and I completely over heated and blued the bits, after that they dulled out and only worked on one or two more screws. When I replace these I will take care not to overheat them and I believe they will last along time. They work best when the head of the screw is still there to keep bit centered, found it somewhat difficult to drill a headless screw without using a center punch. They drill in reverse...took a minute to figure that out. Make sure to drill the hole until it bottoms out for best results.

Uncertain
I ordered these to remove a damaged screw in a pistol grip.I did not need to use them since closer inspection showed the screw to be very loose and only slightly damaged. However, these should work well except for very tight or corroded screws which would require a hand impact driver before using these.I did mess with these a bit while deciding whether to keep or return and decided this set would be valuable for the type of damaged household screws I run into.Hence the 3 stars. If you need something for light use, these are handy.Just do not expect then to remove anything to tough.

Do not work
These are not very good. I tried several times on just a standard Phillips screw that was stripped out, and they did not work at all. Very cheap ,weak product. The drill end that is supposed to ream out the screw head is such soft material that they just dulled. And the extractor part is just useless. I would not recommend or purchase again. Cheap. Was a waste of ten bucks.

It Works!
When you use it correctly it has worked every single time. Great product because there were situations, in my business, when on a job site that would have taken an enormous amount of time to remove the screw and this got it in less than a minute! Imagine 12 screws that are stripped and rusted and you can’t dig them out or you will ruin the product you’re trying to remove? Use the tool the correct way and it works. It has worked for me every time.

Broke on first use.
On the first use, the exactor tip broke off. Very cheap metal. Was excited about trying but surprised at the very cheap quality. Returned thanks to Amazon but a waste of time and effort. Stay away!
