I love this organizer!One morning while I was sitting at my desk, a client called me requesting a document that I had drafted for her earlier in the week. I told her that it was no problem and that I would send it to her right away. As I hung up the phone, I looked at my desk and saw nothing but piles and piles of papers. After about 30 minutes of searching, I still couldn’t find what I was looking for and it was at that moment I realized I needed to get an organizer for all these papers.After comparing different organizers, I decided to purchase this one because it offered more pocket folders for storage and it could also be transformed from a vertical wall organizer into a travel size briefcase.This organizer has 9 pocket folders and each can hold quite a bit. I personally have put note pads, files, papers, and manila folders in each of the various pockets. 7 folders are multicolor which is great for color coding. 2 folders are clear in color with one in the back and one in the front. I especially like the front clear one so I can put business cards and daily reminder notes in and easily see them.The 9 pocket folders are laid out in a very simple and unique design. When you first open the organizers, the pockets are stacked on top of each other but when you hang the organizer on the wall, each pocket lowers one after the other so all are fully displayed similar to vertical tiers. Then when you want to travel with your papers, it’s fairly easy to collapse and secure with a couple of snap locks. All the papers in each pocket folder stay secure and you’re ready to take it anywhere. It’s like a mini briefcase.It’s well designed and pretty sturdy. The organizer is plastic but it feels very stable and strong. Overall, I would highly recommend as it’s a great space saver.

The folders are GREAT -- I have 5 of these. I am using them for filing recipes, documents that need to be taken out of the house in case of emergency, vacation planning to keep confirmations - reservations - activities in the area - maps, etc, home improvement projects with details from plans, estimate, contract and information on the materials to be used in the project, and the last folder is being medical records to take to doctor with history of medical conditions and treatments. They are compact and ready to go with you. Original had ordered 1 but later ordered 4 more. Order more than 1 I'm sure you will find a good use for it.

Didn't last long. I bought this for my son for middle school. Within 2 weeks the back pocket ripped off of the exterior rendering it totally useless. Didn't hold up well for what he needed. Not much room for papers in the folders either. I wouldn't trust it hanging on a wall either as all the file folders are basically held on the the exterior part by one folder. I was very disappointed in this product.

Review: I think it is very important to have a safe and organized place to put important documents and this organizer was easy to use and fit my needs perfectly. The item is exactly as pictured and the color of each pocket is bright and vibrant. The clear pocket in the very front is good for putting smaller items that need to be seen right away. Having so many pockets in one case is helpful for someone like me who wants to be more detailed in how my papers are arranged. I sometimes carry these papers around with me so the carrying handle is perfect. The briefcase is strong and feels very durable. I can throw it into the car and don't need to worry about anything falling out. Although I have not maxed out the space in the folder, I can tell that I will be able to store lots and lots of papers in this. Overall, I like this product very much and will order another for my daughter to help her organize her school work!

Make sure you read the product description very carefully because the name says “9 folders” but it really only has 7 that are actually usable. The eighth is tiny and the other doesn’t really expand to hold much. Also one of the folders cracked the first time I used it. Overall, not impressed. It also doesn’t serve the function I need, and I would return it, but Amazon wants to charge more than half the cost of the item in return shipping, so I guess I’ll figure out some use for it.

This organizer has been perfect for organizing all of my mail. I needed a quick and simple fix for all of the mail we receive and that’s when I found this organizer. It’s been a perfect solution for helping organize all of the clutter. I hang it right next to our front door so once we come in from the mail box, I can easily sort everything with the 9 color coded pocket folders. I’ve labeled each pocket with a category like bills, advertisements, letters, etc.It’s very sturdy and durable. I love the way it can be collapsed into a compact portable briefcase. Clearing all the mail clutter has cleared my mind so now I can focus on more important things. My wife wants another one so I’ll be getting another one soon.

The design is very innovative. When you first open the organizer each pocket is stacked neatly on top of each other. Then as you hang it on the wall, each pocket expands down into tiers like steps on a staircase. Once fully expanded, I like how each pocket is big enough to hold tons of items. I personally use it to hold receipts, mail, to do lists, and bills. I also like how there are so many colored pockets which gives me the flexibility to organize by days of the week. There is a circle loop at the top which you can hang the organizer from. I wouldn’t recommend a tack but you need something more stable so it won’t fall.Then if you want to travel with your papers, all you need to do is push the pockets back up to their original position of being stacked on top of each other. You wrap the top cover over the pockets and snap the two button locks and you are ready to carry it around like a portable case. There is also a retractable handle so you can carry it by hand. Overall, I really enjoy this product and I will be getting another one for my office.
