Straightforward mounting for a Ronin M
I bought this with the simple goal in mind of mounting it to a Ronin M on a tripod and with a 3/8" adapter I managed to do just that. The center hole in the Skier mount is 3/8 and it has a series of other perimeter holes that are 1/4". Also this is a much cheaper solution than anything else I've found out there and it's crazy small (about the size of a cookie).I mounted a Ronin M to an old Bogen tripod with a newer Bogen Video head and used the Ronin thumb controller to do panning and tilting from afar. Nice thing is the Ronin's 3rd axis let's it self level on hills and embankments on an imperfectly balanced tripod.Only word of advice I would give is that the Ronin on most smaller tripods could easily be enough to fall over so keep the legs wide or weighting them would be a very good idea.
