Oliver Pecan was started by Gordon Lee and Clydene Oliver in 1970, when they purchased a pecan orchard in San Saba County. They had 2 cane poles and 2 buckets, along with heart, determination and a vision to provide for their family. Oliver Pecan has grown through the years to where we now harvest around 30,000 trees across the state of Texas and we have three buying stations (San Saba, San Angelo and Belmont). We are one of the few pecan companies that grow, harvest, process and make pecan products. Following Gordon Lee's passing in 2000, Oliver Pecan remains a family run and operated business. Clydene is the heart of the company with her children, Shawn, Marcie and Mark carrying on the pecan legacy. The next generation is getting involved as well. When you stop by Oliver Pecan or our newest store Oliver & Co., you will likely see three generations of Oliver's working side by side. We are also most likely answering the phone when you call. We try our best to provide you with our very best pecans and candy, so we make everything in small batches to insure freshness and quality.
