Fusion spliced
Gets the job done. Smaller splice so takes up less space in the splice holder tray. Haven’t had a splice fail. Only issue is if the optical splicer recommends to cleave the fiber at 16mm, the splice tube is almost too short and the heat shrink barely overlaps the insulation on the fiber strand to reinforce the splice, but that’s not a failure of the product. Works perfect with a fusion splicer with a short cleave. Overall awesome product.
