As a first generation Beatles fan ( I saw them at the Cavern Club ) I know the Beatles story backwards, and have many many books that have contributed to that knowledge, but for some reason I didn't buy 'Anthology' when it first appeared........However that failing has now been remedied, and I would just like to say, it's an excellent book, and I was really pleased with the condition of the book which was not 'new'........Many thanks.

There is no doubt that this book tells the Beatles story like no other. It includes many previously unpublished photos and accounts from the Beatles themselves. I wish more than anything we had a book like this for other popular artists such as ABBA and the Carpenters.

Essential for Beatles, rock and roll, and music itself fans! This is the bible about the band and everything surrounding the band, the members, the events, the places. It has everything.

This book is *the* book all Beatles fans have been waiting for. I shelled out for the hardback and i'm not at all regretful. The book is large with high quality glossy paper. The book is comprised of statements by The Beatles themselves in chronological order from their high school days to Hamburg and beyond with all the wit and insight you would expect. Excellent photos too!

Bought this for my partners birthday. He's a big fan and said it was the best book he's read about the Beatles. Its a dream book for any beatles fan, it's concise and full of unseen pictures. It's a must have!
