Rick Steves Spain

and not even a fan of RickSteves as mostly we cruise as we are older and it's so much easier to get around. Having said that? We spend a week prior or after wherever the cruise port is in Europe etc, and find his information is accurate regarding most everything. He knows his stuff.

I recently traveled Spain. This book was indispensable. It does have information for most tourist sites. Helps with all aspects of travel ie directions, costs, transportation, reservations etc. The Kindle format make maps harder to read, for maps, I prefer the paperback book.

Hotels, tours, where/how to eat. How to dress and how to get the most from your time. Reported scams. Where to save money. Have used his travel guides for years.Do as recommended - tear out the pages for your travels that day and when the day is finished, throw the pages away. Keeps your hands free.

This guide gives a good middle of the road introduction to the main highlights in Spain with affordable options for most budgets. In general, it was a good overview for me as a first time traveler to all of the places where I was visiting (Madrid and a tour of many places in Andalusia). Some notable cities and sites - Cadiz and Caminito del Rey for example - were not mentioned at all. And it is aimed for the British traveler's tastes which is also a bit limiting.

Super easy to get useful, interesting, relevant information. We used this on the fly while traveling through Spain. The self guided tours are really good.

Keep coming back to Rick Steves and he never disappoints. The other guides have better photographs for sure, but the write up and suggestions are why you go with Rick.

All of Rick Steves travel guides are fantastic. He knows the ins and outs of traveling and shares great tips with his readers.

Very useful tips about everything a traveler needs to know in advance! The book also has an mobile app that works as audio guide for city walk tour.

Unfortunately a lot of my travel through Spain was in the north. This book didn’t provide much, if any information, about smaller places in the country.

Lot's of walking tours and information
