Trail Turtle Tube Cooler With Pucks for Can Beverages

First impression, this thing is quality! Liner on the inside and out look more insulating than others I’ve seen. I’ll be taking it on a kayak trip for a few days and I’ll see how it holds up. Can’t imagine I’ll have anything negative to report. Nice way to hold my cans!Update 5/21/18:So I didn’t get to use it as intended for my kayak trip BUT it got used! One night when my tent got overrun by ticks, I was able to use it as a pillow as I slept in my kayak. Then, I was able to use it as padding for my back when one of the water tight boxes I was using kept digging into my back. So, lots of padding on this thing! I got to use it when I got back home and was out mowing the yard. Pucks melt sort of quick, but the beers stayed cold for the couple of hours I was out there. Still a five star item!

For being 1.5x more in price than other 6 pack sling coolers, I had expected more out of the deal than what it is. The stitching tore within 8 uses of the first sling I had. I view it as a design flaw with the way the stitching is assembled and a lacking of material thickness to totes around the weight of a full sling of drinks. Amazon replaced it and had me send the old one in. That was rather inconvenient. The little black hockey puck looking ice packs don't keep beverages any colder really, not does the thin lining of the sling. Within 3 hours, the beverages start losing their chill. By 6 hours in, the drinks begin to become hot. Unless you're slamming all your drinks quickly, expect a hot beverage. I am only giving the item 2 stars because it did not hold up to a mere out uses, nor did it keep beverages cold for very long. Thicker insulated walls, more sewn down strapping to carry the load adequately, better ice packs, all could make this in to a good product. Currently, it seems like a mass produced, cheaply made, in whatever far off cheap labor force country, gimmick of a waste of money. I highly recommend NOT wasting $25 US dollars on this beverage carrier.

Okay so it looks cool you get ice pucks (which lose temp faster than the beer) and a koozie that’s why you get two stars, but the up to 4 hours temperature keep claim is a massively bold over statement even with cold beers and even with the ice pucks in freezer for over 24hrs and the cooler tube in freezer for a hour before loading beers you’d be lucky to have cold beer at the 1 hour mark while it sat in the shade the whole time, it was basically a sauna in the tube at the hour mark. Took a chance guess for the price I got what I paid for lol.

This product works great got it for disk golf and I was out in the heat at least 2 hrs and the sling cooler with the pucks kept my drinks cold AF!!

Works great I gave three stars because the strap broke about the fifth use.

The cooler, ice pucks and koozie are great! I used the items on a recent trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Easy to carry around and kept my beverages cold. This is exactly what I was looking for.

This one has 5 pucks to put btwn each can !!! Very sturdy, durable material. This is top-notch quality ! Everywhere I go with this, people ask about it. Will be purchasing more as gifts.
