MULTIFUNCTIONAL : Stirrers glass are perfect for mixing my homemade organic toothpaste, body butter and shave cream. Stirring sticks don't scratch pans and your hands don't get hot. Clean up is a breeze - NOTHING sticks to them! Glass stir sticks are essential laboratory apparatus used in various chemical mixing processes. This is the ideal kind of glass stir rod that deserves to be in your laboratory. These are a nice size of mixing sticks for mixing small batches of cosmetics and herbal mixtures. Works well for stirring liquids that shouldn't come into contact with metal (bentonite clay, ionic silver). Stir sticks are great for stirring my experimental mixture! Drink stirrers are obviously very suitable for stirring your hot cocoa or any other beverage you've got going on, amongst other useful kitchen uses. Do not use at temperatures above 212 F. They don't need to be better. Good price.
Glass rods as promised. They arrived wrapped together in a bubble-wrap cylinder, cushioned from outside, all in contact with one another inside. None were chipped, all intact. The rod ends are crudely finished; no sharp edges but some are quite lopsided and few are well rounded. If I cared, I could refine them all easily in a burner flame. The longest two sizes are really too long for anything I have in mind. They'll live an idle life. They're of decent diameter, all the same, likely strong enough for all but very rough use. Presumably they are untempered soda glass.Good enough. Fit for purpose. Inexpensive. I'll use them till they break. No regrets.

Chipped, Misshaped Ends on Several
Do not purchase!!! The ends of the rods are supposed to be rounded, but instead are misshaped on almost all. Small air bubbles inside many of the rods. Five of the rods were chipped at one or both ends and seemed brittle, as though more shards could break off. This is unacceptable! I purchased these to stir small batches of cosmetic creams/lotions/serums- it would be dangerous to rub products potentially containing shards of glass all over the skin!!!- I couldn’t tell if the chipping was because of faulty manufacturing, or how the item was packaged. ( I couldn’t find any broken shards in the packaging itself.)- These were received wrapped in a single piece of bubble wrap, set snugly inside a long cardboard box, inside the larger shipping box with 5 or so smallish sized plastic bubbles. Packaging seemed sturdy enough, but it could have benefitted from each rod being wrapped individually and the inner box being more “secure” in the shipping box.- BOTTOM LINE I would not recommend.- Also, the largest size of these stirring rods is about 14” long, 1cm thick and seems completely useless unless you’re stirring a very large quantity of all liquids.- 1 star because of chipped & brittle ends.

Not rounded ends, but ok.
These did not come with round ends, the edges are "rounded" so they aren't sharp, but they are not round as advertised. Also, they are frequently uneven on the ends too, with one being way off (pictured) and another just chipped.I need round ends, so I'll stuff these away for a future project and keep shopping.

Nice addition to a home bar.
Great product. I’ll be using them in my home bar as cocktail stirs. I like the assortment of sizes because I can use them in different sized glassware and also for pitchers of adult libations. They seem sturdy, they arrived well packaged with no breakage.Great for hot beverages, Irish Coffees, etc because they won’t melt or alter the flavor of the drink.Inexpensive too!

Glass rods
Of course I ended up breaking the longer ones because I'm basically stirring tree sap, but they lasted a good long while. I have the 6 incher left still. Pretty good glass but I'd go with boro if higher durability is required. Or just don't be stupid like me, get metal stirrers if you're stirring tough stuff.

As expected
The glass stirring rods were exactly as described, good price and fast shipping. Packing was very nice, wrapped in bubble wrap, separate from each other and the outside packing. None were damaged in any way and fit my needs exactly. I will order again.

Well...
I wanted a stirring rod that had no color balls in the tips, just the clear ones but these are a little to fragile for my taste.

First set arrived broken - second set were intact
The first set of stirring rods, while well packaged with bubble wrap in a compact box, had half of the rods broken upon arrival. There were no dents on the box itself. The second set arrived in excellent condition. So far, the stirring rods have held up to classroom use.
