I haven’t installed them yet but they’re definitely a good value because your big box supply stores charge about $10 for only 5 or 6 of them. I’ve already installed the other ones that I purchase from Amazon the entire length of the front of my home which faces the west they don’t use a lot of water but it helps the sun from beating on the side of your house and heating it up which helps keep your AC bill down. I plan to install them on the back of my house which faces the east and I have a large patio and my bedroom gets very hot in the morning so I just need to find a timer that will turn them on from sunrise to about 1 o’clock which will help keep my bedroom from getting too hot. FYI you can purchase clear PVC glue so it looks cleaner and if they’re going to be in the direct sun I recommend painting your PVC so the sun does not degraded it over time. I have not tried half-inch gray conduit yet to see if the couplers will fit but it holds up in the sun much better than the white it’s basically the same thing it’s just to distinguish electrical from water usage. Also I have mine hooked up to softened water which helps the Misters from clogging overtime but they can be cleaned just remember to take the O-rings out first or the cleaner can damage them. They also sell in-line cartridges if you don’t have a water softener. When remodeling my house I had it stubbed out by the eaves so I didn’t have to run a pipe or hose up the side of my house. And the valve is a quarter turn straight lever and I attached an extension to it so I can reach it without a ladder I hope this helped.

We built a patio mister. Unfortunately, though we tried it in three places, the wind took the mist and turned it somewhere else. We even tried it across two chairs on the yard and tried walking around it. The mist is so fine that you cannot feel it more than a foot from the mist. And if the wind catches it, it's gone. But they work just fine. The instructions I read suggested a quarter circle spray valve which would have worked better, I think. So these are not suitable if you plan to use the mister in an exposed area. May be good for inside a tent or patio with a roof.

I purchased forty (40) total of these mist nozzles for 2 home projects. Upon completion of the 1st project, 7 of the 13 nozzles needed were defective(Dripped/streamed/flat-out didn't allow water through, etc). I refused to start the 2nd project fearing 'more of the same.' After contacting the seller, there was great communication back/forth - mostly. Even though the end result took a little longer than anticipated, the seller did right by me and sent me more nozzles for replacement. While I haven't received the replacements yet(shipped yesterday), their willingness to do right be my won't go unnoticed and I will send back all defective nozzles upon completion of the 2nd project. Thanks for making it right!

These are a must have if you’re adding a pvc mister system to your patio or other outdoor space. The pvc system is really quite easy to design and construct. One thing I will note is that I didn’t like the nails that are included in the pvc pipe clips so I removed them and replaced with #6 wood screws 2” in length. This made its easier to install the system and once it was up and operating properly I was able to easily loosen the clips and pipe for painting. The orbit couplings and related products are high quality and the nozzles very effective at producing a fine mist. What I especially appreciated was that these products were immediately available from this seller whereas my local hardware was out of stock on this and many related parts needed to build my system. Pricing from this seller is much lower than purchasing from others and especially so when compared to local retailers such as Lowes. A few of the nozzles in my purchase didn’t function properly and this seller was very responsive and promptly and courteously replaced them.

Made an aeration station for the wife (at her request) and now she regrets it. Probably will tear it down after next summer, we'll see. 'Too cold' for her unless it's 100°+ outside (2× a year?).

The heads and adapter worked great, even under our high water pressure. Make sure when installing you use plumbers cleaner and then plumbers glue to install or the water pressure could "pop" your seems causing damage or injuries. Also, make sure your PVC pipe is designed to handle the water pressures.

I could not be happier with the Orbit PVC misting system. I recently installed it around my covered patio and the results are darn near professional. They glued together easily and after painting, blended into patio. I also want to give a shout out to the seller Timers Plus LLC. I discovered that a few of the mister heads were faulty and they sent replacement heads out immediately.Vey professional – buy your mister heads from this company!
