Performance insert that stabilizes the toes within the toe cap and enhances hockey skate performance. For hockey players looking for a competitive edge -- improved stride efficiency, stability and explosiveness. Used by Pro Players. Inserts come in SR size (for skates 6+) and JR size (for skates Y13-JR5.5).

Great innovation for new or old skates.
I put these in a pair of Graf skates that were honestly past their life span. With the inserts, I instantly regained full contact with the foot bed from the ball of my foot forward through my toes. The skates felt snug and new. The improvement was most noticeable in the first few quick steps. I realized how badly I had been curling my toes to lift my skates once that play in the toe of the skates was filled by the inserts. Since I purchased the first pair of inserts, I also purchased a new pair of CCM Jetspeeds. I bought another set and put them in before my first skate on the CCMs. The Jetspeeds, once baked, are about the best fitting skate I've ever owned, and I think they are just as effective in the brand new skates. Great product!!UPDATE: Dumped the Grafs for a new pair of CCM light speed skates. These are arguably some of the best skates currently available so I wasn't sure the fit could be improved upon. I put another pair of inserts into the new skates and was more impressed than the affect they had on my old worn out Grafs. They created the same satifying fit; snug without creating numbing pressure over the top of the toes enhancing full contact with the interior of the boot regardless of your movement. I highly recommend them.

Improved feel.
I love these things! At first when I started using them I wasn’t sure. Well I upgraded my skates and immediately knew I had to get another set. I had forgotten they were there they are so comfortable. Once I got my new skates my toes would noticeably curl up into the free space. So much movement I felt they might get blisters on the sides where they contact each other. Then I got these agin and while I’m sure my toes still curl they do so more slowly and controlled with a soft cushion above them. Felt great just like my old skates that had these. As far as durability the first ones were a year old and still working like new. I use my skates several times a week. During season I coach youth hockey twice a week. Play once a week and do a couple public skates. So they seen a ton of use. Overall I’d recommend these for comfort and the fact they are durable making them a one time purchase unless you change skates. As far as improved speed or power I don’t think they provide any. At least nothing I notice.

These are a great addition to your hockey skates...
Great instructions included with this product, seemingly well constructed - differing types of foam/mesh adhered and cut well. One side is tapered, as you can see from the product images, and it helps with sliding your foot in. The instructions guide you well with how to fit shims in if you need more thickness. Immediately felt more comfortable and power transfer from this addition. I wear Bauers and the toe cap was huge before adding this.Only reason for a star off is the price - definitely could be cheaper.

Actually not a gimmick... at least IMHO
Was decently impressed with these, I have a pair of bauer vapor x5.0's and the toe box is somewhat big... Was watching some youtube videos and a guy mentioned these being helpful, so i thought i would try them... Pretty glad i did actually, didn't realize how much my toes moved upwards before even though my toes touch the end of the toe box already... Anyways, I feel like i notice a difference in turns, crossovers, etc.. Just a little more stability...I was a little unsure whether or not to use the additional inserts, ended up just using the main one and it seemed to work fine... I will say that the pad seems like it shrinks a little bit after a couple uses, but again it still works pretty well...

Worth More than the Price Tag!!!
This is an awesome product for cushioning the toe cap and removing extra space. My skates are a half size too big but these make my skates fit comfortably now and keeps my foot and ankle locked in instead of sliding forward in my boots. I highly recommend this product to everyone who skates.

Far better than expected - fixed lifetime problem
I really didn't expect this to work.I have large feed, large forefeet, and narrow heel. It's almost impossible to get a skate that fits. In my case, the skate fits, but the toebox is too large - I scrunch my toes up when I skate, which will cause MASSIVE pain through the arches and elsewhere. Excruciating.I will never own a pair of skates without using these. Ever. Yes - they are probably too expensive for what they are, but I'd pay 10x the price, just to solve this problem. Now that I don't scrunch my toes up, my skates are so comfortable, just like normal shoes. Amazing.

Very Happy
I've been playing hockey all my life but I stopped playing 5 years ago because of a bone spur on my toe that required surgery. I played a little on and off but it wasn't fun with my injury. I bought the powerfoot and tried with the first insert and it felt much better but then I put the second insert in and I felt no pain at all. I would recommend this product to anyone who plays hockey with or without an injury. Last, I also have an older pair of Bauers and I don't want to break in a new pair so the powerfoot allows me to keep skating with my old trusty Bauers.

Small cheap, but can be a high impact device!
This insert changed my size 9 Easton Mako M8 EEs from a good compromise for my wide foot, to a pair of really precise and comfortable skates, really helping my performance as a recreational hockey player. It simply made me feel more in contact with my skates and the ice.My old Makos are now retired for a new pair of Bauer Supreme S190s EEs (bought on black Friday :)..), that I'm currently breaking in and even though the Bauers are more snug and tight than the Mako's, my toes are also here wiggling a bit too happily and made me order a new pair of inserts from Powerfoot. I'll let you all know how it goes, but I can't see how this can be a $25 wrongly spent based on my previous experience. Small and cheap thingy, but can have a big impact on how you're able to use your expensive skates...
