If, like me, you already have a desk set up with your own computer and suddenly find yourself working from home with a work's laptop, this is an essential piece of kit. It allows you to use your existing mouse and keyboard with either machine at the press of a button. I have mounted this to the underside of my desk with some gorilla tape. Just to point out why I went for this one instead of a proper KVM switch, my monitor has a Dport from my computer and a HDMI from the works laptop and I have not seen a KVM that accommodates both Dport and HDMI to the monitor. Therefore, I have to manually switch my main monitor between the two (my second monitor is set to my computer) If you are working from home and find yourself with either two keyboards or mice set up on your desk for your works laptop, you need to get one of these. If you want to switch the monitor over automatically too, this is not the right component for you, spend a little more for one with the right video ports but just for a switchable 4 port hub, this is excellent.

Works like a dream switching between my work laptop and home pc. It's smaller than I expected as well, which is a good thing. Mounted to the underside of your desk, you wouldn't know it was there.

Got tired of unplugging and plugging in printer and scanner between pc and laptop every time I switched devices. This has made life so much easier. One click of a button and the devices are connected to the second pc. Very easy to use and no software needed. Just plug and play. Would recommend.

I waited too much time for this mandatory setup for who work from home and use working laptop and home desktop.with the same mouse, keyboard, printer and USB headphone on 2 different workstation! It works perfectly. just press hard button to switch from Laptop to Home desktop.Change is immediately and all device attached are ALWAYS recognized.there is also micro USB to charge the device attached but I don't use it and works perfectly .It comes with 2 USB3.0 (Male-Male) and 1 USB to charge the switcher (I don't use , it is is needed if you need attach device that require more current like some old USB HD )
