I just finished the book and want to read the next episode!! I kept turning the pages and didn’t want to put it down, so I really enjoyed it and this needs to be made into a movie! Lots of good characters and strong premise ,

The author skilfully builds tension and excitement. Astonishing feat of imagination combined with historical facts that deploys theatrical panorama of the powerful voice of ancient heroine, Queen Teuta. A very enjoyable read.

Besa Po is a captivating story that explores themes of honor and loyalty through the cultural concept of “besa.” The narrative is engaging, and overall message is meaningful. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others.

Very good book however could have been expanded lot more for more enjoyment.

"To all the strong and unstoppable women out there" Besa Po. It is the book that takes you on an adventure from present to the past. Its strong female protagonist presents the glory of a woman in male dominant society. Strong plot development with the blend of historical facts from the "Land of Illyria" and fiction. Consice, page turner story full of surprising twists makes it an exciting read in short time. Strong depiction of historical events and characters makes readers feel as a lover, warrior and a leader with "Queen Teuta." Noka's easy language explains the historical events and her way of unfolding the events is heart touching. Noka deals with themes of love, war, leadership and determination. Highly recommended to those who wants to peep into historical events.

I bought this book on a recommendation by a friend. I am so happy he did recommend it. And I can now say full heartedly that I highly recommend it to you all. A great book, great writing and an even better read.

The book transferred me to the great land of Illyria. I drank wine with the soldiers, I admired the beauty of the Queen from afar. I smelled the blood. I carried stones for the castle. I fell in love ... Great Job Hana Noka... Highly recommend the book to anyone who likes history and great writing.
