I probably would work given enough time
After about 2 hours if trying to get it to work I have up. I just pointed the walk way by hand. The concept sounds pretty solid. I was using a colored cement mix for the mortar. My wife was expecting a specific color for the grout so I could not mess with the mix much. I am not saying it's a bad product, just for my one time use I did not want to spend enough time to figure it out.

Not worth the price, although customer service was great.
Awkward to use, small hand held grouter was easier to use.
