Tell Me You're Mine: The British Billionaires
G**S
Mistaken identities, fake relationships and falling in love
This is part one of the three part British Billionaire series. It is strongly suggested that you read them in order.I’ve read one of Scott’s series before and loved it, so when I was looking for an author to jump back into I thought I’d delve into another one of her series. Now, being a Brit myself, I thought I’d try the British Billionaire series. And, you know what, I’m glad I did.Damien Lancaster is not only a billionaire, he’s also a Duke, an astute businessman, a loyal family oriented guy and absolutely drop-dead gorgeous! Oh what I would give to be the lucky lady that fell in his lap on that plane journey. That very lucky lady is our heroine, Nicole Ashworth. American PR company owner, Nicole is flying home to LA from the UK after her bid to become Lancaster Internationals new PR Crisis Management consultants… but when a major crisis befalls the owner of said company just minutes before her pitch, it all goes desperately downhill. All is not lost however when Nicole unknowingly encounters the object of the latest celebrity scandal during her flight home… of course, her seat mate only gives her his first name, so she is none the wiser. The more ‘relaxing’ alcoholic beverages she consumes, the looser her lips become until eventually she has unwittingly divulged everything about her awful day to an amused but impressed Damien… yes, Damien Lancaster! Owner of Lancaster International. The Damien Lancaster who has just caused an uproar on a global scale. There’s an instant attraction… and a passionate kiss is shared. Nicole has never had that ‘big O’… and Damien is more than sure he could fulfil the role… but Nicole’s lack of confidence in her own beauty makes her skeptical. She can’t see why an incredibly handsome stranger could possibly find her remotely attractive or desirable. No matter what Damien says to try to convince her, she is adamant that no man would be interested. How very, very wrong she is!It’s not until after they part ways, it becomes apparent just who the gorgeously divine man was beside her. Despite his confident - bordering on arrogant - charm, Nicole believes that she could still help Damien to win back his reputation.More than happy to agree to her terms, Damien goes along with the ruse of the fake relationship. But just how long can they both pretend to be falling in love, especially when they both start to realise that they are no longer pretending. The issue is… there’s a huge secret. As readers, we know right from the start what it is or should I say who it is… but Damien chooses not to tell Nicole that the real womanising cad is his identical twin brother, Dylan. He’s covering for Dylan because he’s grieving, but lying to Nicole and hiding the truth could be their undoing. Will she be able to see past the lies and understand his motives? Or, will he betray her trust beyond repair? This is one of those stories where you are just waiting for everything to hit the fan. You know it’s going to happen, and you are bracing yourself for it… but with every page, you fall deeper into these two lovebirds and you desperately hoping that they will stay strong and not let the secret pull them apart.Really enjoyed this book. Such great main characters. I know Dylan’s story is next and I can’t wait to read on.

Tell me you're mine
I loved reading this book soo much, that I could not set it down until I had finished it.The characters were great, the storyline was brilliant!my only complaint is that it didn't continue further with the storyline... Maybe it's continued in the next or following books but definitely felt it wasn't the end of their story.

cute!
definitely worth a read! a cute, quick enough story with a happy ending! Nicole had Damian wrapped around her finger from the start, and seeing how much he loved her, became a better person for her, and did whatever he could to make her happiest was so lovely😍

Breathtaking....
I came across this book by chance after looking through the romance genre and dear God, I want disappointed.I read this book cover to cover in a matter of hours and I'm excited to read book two next.Damian & Nicole are two opposites that definitely attract.Nicole is a corporate law attorney that gave up her dreams after her mother died and Damian is the British billionaire Duke who falls helplessly in love with the attorney-come-PR Exec. You'll be captivated by them from start to finish. The only negative is the constant use of italics - forcing the reader to emphasise certain words that don't need emphasising or that naturally emphasise themselves. It's jarring & really irritated me. However, I enjoyed the book so much that I forced myself to overlook the overuse. All in all, a fantastic book... Now onto book 2!

Another fantastic story from J S Scott
A fantastic start to this new series. Damien Lancaster is CEO of the Lancaster international a job that he and his identical twin brother Dylan inherited five years ago after the death of their father ,(there is another younger brother Leo but he has no interest in working in the family business. ) Two years ago something happened when Dylan suffered a great personal tragedy, after which Dylan wanted to disappear and wanted nothing to do with the family business so much so he made Signed all official responsibility over to his twin Damien . In return Damien payed a huge some of money to a company so that they could erase all traces of Dylan allowing him to become a recluse . Problem is Dylan seems to be well on the road to self destruction with destructive behaviour which leaves Damien always trying to clean up the mess that his twin gets himself in. The fact is that Damien did a good job of erasing traces of his twin people think that it’s Damien getting himself into these situations leading to bad press and speculation about Damien’s unhealthy interests . After the latest pictures were splashed all over the internet and papers his mother and Damien are now at the end of their tether, both realise that some serious tough love is needed where Dylan is concerned and now he’s run off to LA to hide until the scandal dies down . Once again it’s left to Damien to fly to LA to sort his twin out and more importantly try and calm things down . Nicole Ashworth inherited her mother’s company Ashworth Crisis Management after she passed away , Nicole is in a London where she was hoping to sign Lancaster international up for her companies services and judging by what’s in the news papers today with Dylan’s latest antics they definitely in need of crisis management . Sadly for her the CEO was not at the meeting , during her presentation the news of what just happened disrupts her flow and concentration and the meeting ends negatively for her ,now realising that she’s lost a good opportunity she’s flying home . Little does she know that sitting by her is Damien Lancaster and let’s just say things get very interesting for them and that’s where I’ll end my review 😉❤️. As will all of Jeans books it only takes a few sentences to draw you into the story they are all very well written and the stories alway flow well . Looking forward to Dylan’s story next and discovering just what happened to make him want to self destruct so much ,the only negative point is that we’ve got a 6 months until June 2021 to find out . 🤨🤗

Way too many italics!
The use of italics was really distracting. At the beginning it was like every other word was italicised. Became super annoying and made the internal conversations feel a bit childish.
