I picked through the box and was able to find enough “nice” ones for an event, however, about a third of these were unusable. They were shipped in sealed packaging, but moisture must have gotten in somehow because lots of the plates were discolored, warped, smelled of mold/mildew, etc.I love the concept, but I would not buy these again.

I love these plates and buy only this brand for disposable plates. The first few times I got them, they were amazing. Well structured and even had little bumps on the bottom to avoid putting the whole plate on your table or counter. This last pack I bought is very warped though, almost like they got wet and were left to dry. It’s missing the bumps on the bottom and the surface isn’t as smooth as my previous orders. I’ll keep ordering and go through this pack, but I’m disappointed in the lack of consistency.

Wanted something to avoid doing dishes for a large family week long gathering to an island but also didn't want to feel guilty about creating a ton of trash on the island. These were great. More expensive than paper plates, but nicer looking than all but very best of the designer looking disposable. Much studier than plastic or paper. Held heat without burning your hand like a cardboard, paper, or plastic plate would. Never got soggy even with sauce soaked pasta or taco night. Will definitely buy again.

These plates are incredible!! They are not only strong enough to prevent leaking, but they feel great to hold. My 90-year-old father hates using disposable plates because his grip isn’t very strong anymore, and the paper plates would not be sturdy for him to hold. I served up BBQ ribs off our smoker and they were perfect for complimenting this special occasion. These plates have the strength of a plastic plate, and yet they are not plastic and look beautiful! Each plate appears to have a unique all-natural artisan design. For me, the best part was not having to do dishes, but still serving the meal on plates that look as good as those that go in the dishwasher. I care about the environment too, so I could never feel good about using ordinary disposable plates in the past. With these, my family will be using them all the time without worrying that we am harming our world.

The plates were surprisingly sturdy and I enjoyed using them. They warped though when I used them for rice and soup and some of the plates had black / dark brown streaks on them that do appear like molds but I guess that was just how they are made / designed. The color of the plates were also not the same. Some were darker brown. The plates are a bit expensive in my opinion but I understand that the higher price you pay is because they are compostable & biodegradable and better for the environment. Overall, I would say the product is worth a try and is great to use as an alternative to disposable plates.

I had ordered these as desert plates for my wedding a couple months ago, and was impressed with the looks and quality, recently my guest count went up so I ordered another set, this one arrived in TERRIBLE condition! There was no damage to the box it arrived in, or to the other items that arrived with it, which tells me it was picked and packed visibly very damaged and sent that way. I am SO disappointed!

These are a nice alternative to paper/foam plates. They are sturdy, can be reused a few times if needed (I hand wash them) and are biodegradable when tossed.
