Not what I expected.the distance between layers is too short for average cakes. I planned to use this for my wedding cake but the stock cakes I purchased from Publix were too tall.

We host a number of fairly large gatherings here at our home every year, and I am always on the lookout for items that will help with serving food to a crowd. I have tried quite a few different plate stackers for appetizers, and none have ever made it easy to see what was on the plate and access it, until now. This is a sturdy server! Assembly took a bit of figuring, but once I had it figured out, it was a breeze. The spacing between levels means people will be able to reach the food on each without hitting the level above. The box is sturdy and will make it easy to store the item as well. I do suggest that you place the stand in position on your buffet table before filling it with food as it does not appear it would be easy to carry while full. I received this product at a discount but can say with all honesty that I would recommend this to anyone who needs this sort of server.

I love this 3 tier cake stand. I like the fact that each layer looks like it is floating because of the clear acrylic. It was easy to put together. The instructions were very easy to follow. I was able to fit about 24 cupcakes easily on the stand and it still looked pretty. I I love that the bottom is a shiny white. It matches every theme you would ever think of. You would be able to smoothly slide a cake on without messing it up. .. I have received this product at a discount in return for an honest opinion.
