One of Wells' better novels in a lovely edition.
This nicely edited and accurate version of the novel stems from the more popular Heinemann edition that was first published as a serial. It's a short book but a great read for kids and adults. The novel is at once a revelation of social relations, eschatology; the final human destiny, and of course it is ultimately a reflection of Wells' own world, which was often spent in basements and underground areas where he worked and lived. The novel is one of those great little reads from the end of the 19th century that will never be forgotten. The text here does it justice for a good price. Cover art is fantastic. You can't go wrong with a cheap edition from SeaWolf. It's like buying a little trinket from days gone.

It's different from the movie!
I loved reading a 19th century book that was groundbreaking in regards to time travel.

Some dialogue is jumbled into one paragraph
Some dialogue is jumbled into one paragraph here and there. This makes for confusion. Printing issue? Was it printed in someone’s garage? Anyway, the story lacks luster and imagination as well.
