Using it on a Thermik Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel 30 oz tumbler. The lid fits perfectly -- there is no chance it will come off accidentally. The slide clicks into open and closed positions. It is hard to see in the photos, but there is a raised strip on the slide that makes it easy to open and close. Seems solidly made. There is every reason to believe it will last a long time.

I tried a different type because I didn't want spills in my new to me car and didn't like that the tab kept bumping my nose. This lid works great I already dropped it in my car with the tab closed and was very happy that it didn't spill out all over the place. Why only 4 stars...........Colors please

This lid has two big drawbacks: First, to open and close the mouthpiece of this lid, you slide a piece of plastic off of and onto the mouth opening. Liquid gets trapped between the plastic pieces and mildews. It is possible to clean, if you can get the slide off with a pair of pliers. Second, the gasket that keeps the lid taut to the cup is not built it, but can be removed and moves on its own. After a couple of months, I can no longer get the lid to fit onto the cup.

I really enjoy this lid over the stock RTIC lid as it allows for splash proofing and spill resistance. I do not usually use a straw with mine so it is nice to be able to snap closed the drink opening.

I really do like this. Will it stop every drop? Hmmm, not been my experience. Yes, it leaked. But, it slides easily, does almost all it claims, fits my mouth so very well, and very tight fit into my tumbler. So, yes, it does my 5 star service.

These lids fit tightly, so there is no leaking, yet it has an opening spout that can be opened and closed easily with the thumb and a straw is easily inserted into that opening.

It's okay, but I found something that works much better for my purposes. I forgot about it and can no longer return the item. So, I'll be looking to donate it somewhere. I won't be using it, since I found something much better. It's fine for what it is, but I was able to find something completely spill-proof for nearly the same price.

Good quality lid. I have two different brand tumblers and it works well with both. I gave it a 4 star because it does leak around the opening. It is not leak proof, but still a very good lid.
