Nice support tool!
Nice Product, performs very well. Just be very careful when applying heat, I melted my connector, (it still works)

I didn't like it because I feel it will break my wire

this is extremely difficult to apply to your charger!
this is extremely difficult to apply to your charger! i could only get about half of it to fit

Easy to apply (but needs heat source), protects well
I know from personal experience that charging and headphone cables can self-destruct at the connector end due to repeated bending of the cable causing the jacket and insulation to fray and break. It's also a common complaint from others. While I have seen (and own) many cables that come with beefed-up strain reliefs, I was unaware that a cottage industry in aftermarket strain reliefs had popped up. The manufacturer of Sleev sent me a pair of these and asked me to review them. You could be excused for thinking that Sleev is just a length of heat-shrink tubing. Well, it IS heat-shrink tubing, in part. Inside the outer tube is a shorter, more rigid tube (also heat-shrink? Maybe) and inside that is a bit of adhesive. Included in the package, along with the two Sleevs, is a paper clip and a card telling you to go to the Sleev web site for installation instructions. To install, slip a Sleev over your connector with the end that has a small dot printed towards the connector. Leave about a quarter of the connector exposed and use the paper clip to hold it in place on the opposite end (where the wire comes out). Now you will need a heat source - I used a hot air gun, but a lighter or butane torch will work. A hair dryer probably won't. You apply the heat to the connector end which shrinks both tubes around the connector and also binds the adhesive. Then remove the clip and shrink the other end - the tubing won't close entirely over the wire, which is deliberate, as this prevents you from just moving the strain problem further down. When you are done, the connector and a bit of the wire are enclosed in a rigid tube, with a more flexible part where the wire comes out and some wiggle room inside, so that any strain on the wire is moderated by the softer tubing. It looks good and felt very secure. I can see how it would help prevent damage to the cord. The tubing is big enough to fit over Lightning, Micro and Mini USB plugs as well as 3.5mm headphone plugs. The only downside I can see is that it makes the plug end visibly longer, and if you wanted to bend the cable closer to the plug you won't be able to do that anymore. If you use a phone case, you will want to make sure that a bit of added diameter will still work. From what I understand, Sleev started out on Kickstarter, and now you can buy them here.
