Pat Savage: Six Scarlet Scorpions

I wasn't sure how Pat was going to work out being on her own adventure given the dynamics of the series, but it was handled well. She was her normal spirited, intelligent, bold character, and the story was good. I liked the interactions with Monk, it gave a bit different perspective. Overall very enjoyable and I look forward to the next one.

Awesome book! Will Murray is a great author who writes in a style that is reminiscent of Lester Dent's, without being a "pastiche" or imitation.

This is a wonderful interpretation of Pat Savage, keeping the original pulp flavor with a thrilling new story filled with fun, excitement and character. I can't wait for the next one. If you've been waiting for a Pat Savage novel where she is not in the background, but front and center, this is it!

I every once in a while read an old Doc Savage novel or see what new ones have been created by his fans. Pat Savage appeared in 5 stories of the original 180/181 super sagas. I like what I read. You might too.
