Fixed the problem on a 2016 Suburban!
First, I was surprised with the shipping. Amazon said it would be delivered in over a month, but we got it in the standard print timeline! We have a 2016 Chevy Suburban that the middle row screen was intermittent, and failed on our last road trip! After some research, I found this was the usual suspect. There were no videos I could find on how to replace it, but it ended up being easy to do. The original strip was insulated (the screen area can get very hot) and had small tabs to assist with lining it up, which this one lacks. I’m not sure how long this will last, but for $20 it’s much better than taking it to the dealer or specialty shop to repair. If your screen stops working, keeps going out, or is only on at certain angles, give this a try and chances are this will solve the problem!

This worked and saved us so much money!
With some disassembly, my husband installed this replacement ribbon on our 2015 Tahoe and it worked! He did lots of research to see why the screens go out in them and came across numerous threads explaining it’s usually the ribbon not the entire screen! Which is , from the the dealership, over $400 new! So at about $20 this is a steal! It takes about 20 small screws and maybe an extra set of hands to hold the screen in place. It took him maybe 30 minutes in all to replace. Very simple and there’s instructions online to show how to do it all. Try this before buying a new screen or having the dealership replace!

Great Fix for a Good Price.
My 2016 Yukon Denali DVD middle screen only showed lines when partially folded down, then nothing. Replaced the ribbon cable with this one and BINGO, back working like new! There quite a bit of disassembly of the unit required after you remove it from the roof. Just need a Phillips screwdriver and some patients to pry open the fold down screen. I didn’t look, but theres probably a YouTube video on how to do it. 30-45 min job that can be done at the kitchen table once the 4 attaching bolts are removed. Very happy with the purchase.

Holy moly it worked!!!!!
Y’all this worked!!! We took our Tahoe to the dealership to see why our tv just stopped working. They said it would cost around $800 to fix it. My determined husband was like absolutely not and googled how to fix it and every review said it’s the ribbon. So we ordered this one on here came in a few days took the tv apart which was actually very easy you just need to keep all screws safe so you can safely put it back together. You unscrew where the tv ribbon attaches and take the old ribbon out (be very very careful doing this you need to unclip it first DO NOT pull there is a clip) then make sure the ribbons align up and secure the ribbon back and Clip it. After reinstalling turn your car on and it should work. It worked for us immediately and we just save around 760. Very impressed.

DVD fix in GMC Yukon Denali
This DVD monitor ribbon fixed the tv screen in my GMC Yukon Denali. I replaced it my self by watching someone else do the same repair on youtube, took about an hour and I have never done anything like this before. I was alittle skeptical because the dealership said my tv screen was shot and needed a whole new one costing over $500.
