Luca: Project Arma, Book 1

Well, this book did keep me up. I was so into it I just had to finish it .it was a very good story ,with plenty of action. I am going to start the second one .give it a go you will enjoy it

This is a first read of this author but I am chomping at the bits to read .Eden's story This is Luca and Evie 's story

Well written and exciting story. The protagonists each have their own problems and find it hard to trust. Great storyline and recommend to those who like an angst ridden romance.

Why amazon insist on 20 words for a review I'll never understand. Especially when I just want to say I enjoyed this book.

New to this author.think this is the first book (unless there is a series of the team when they we're seals and being drugged) I think there is a following series set in the same world (halo or something)because I nearly read that series first.Lucky I noticed before I like to start at the beginning.A interesting storyline this book its a slow characters building.the misunderstood was quickly solved you could see it coming but lucky it's not the focuse.Poor Evie so lost and broken but still strong within.Looks like next book is eden and the story with shylah.

I started my journey of Nyssa Kathryn with this book and I must warn you to approach with caution. I'm now 20 books down the line and about to start my 4th series with her.I love her writing style, it's concise and to the point with enough flower to get your imagination going. The spice is spicy and flows into the storyline naturally, the women are great and the men are Hot (yes, with a capital T).Definitely definitely definitely read this book and indulge in all of her series - you won't be disappointed!!

A really good book with Likeable characters and an interesting storyline. Now for Evens book and I'm looking forward to the rest of the guys.

Really broke my heart the amount of times troy went for evie . Really good read keeps you suspended right till the end .

This is book 1 in the series and I can tell I'm gonna love it!!! Luca is an ex Seals who works for Marble Protection. The back story, suspense element, is about a secret project Luca and his team were tricked into during their last mission. And Evie, Luca's new frightened neighbor is somehow involved. We uncover pert of the secret, but the goal is to find everyone connected. So though Luca and Evie get an hea the story is far from over.

There’s a lot happening in this book, and most of it to Evie, very exciting stuff, I’ll definitely be looking for more, I loved how sweetly gentle Luca is with Evie, and very devoted. Now on to Eden’s book.

This book is an action-packed, page-turner full of suspense, emotions, danger, mystery, and romance.We learn from the prequel novella that Luca and his team of SEALs were unknowing volunteers and deadly byproducts of an unsanctioned experiment called Project Arma. Without their knowledge/consent, they were being used to test a drug that would end up enhancing their abilities and even give them a few more. They are stronger, hear better, see better, have enhanced healing abilities, run faster, and even their mental aptitude is more advanced than before. There were some high powered officials behind the curtain of the project and the teams were unknowingly being trained as ultimate weapons to be programmed to do whatever they were told in any given instance. Luca and his team were one of the many involved in the project and they all also possessed a moral compass whereas others in the experiment did not. As soon as they found out what was really going on they left and formed their own business teaching self-defense and security while still searching for all those responsible for the project to make them pay and make sure no harm is done to others.When Luca meets his new neighbor he is both attracted and intrigued by the shy woman with brilliant green eyes. From her skittish nature and quiet speech his protective instincts flare to life. He is drawn to her and wants to help along with getting to know her better. Though the more he finds out the more suspicious he and his team become of her past. She is definitely hiding something and he can tell it is big. With his team on edge, her lies, and knowing someone is out to do her and his team harm tensions are high and everyone is on edge. They all need answers and want Luca to start asking the hard questions. There is a strong possibility that she is connected to the project or has information they need but how far will they have to go to find out? As long as there is someone else in the shadows stalking them they are all in danger and need to put all their cards on the table to survive.Evie has escaped a nightmare and is still hiding in the shadows trying to keep a low profile and just survive. If she is found again, she knows she will be dead. Alone and scared she is wary of her new neighbor both from his size and the feelings he evokes in her. She is drawn to him, yet at the same time desperate to stay away. Yet with slow determination Luca begins to break down her walls and she starts to depend on him. After she is assaulted he and his team rally for answers only the answers they start to uncover definitely connect her to Project Arma and another person from their past. With a deadly threat hanging over all their heads and Evie’s life on the line, they band together to eliminate the danger once and for all.This book is definitely a nail-biting, edge of your seat suspense. There is so much tension held in the book and several twists and turns to keep you reading and trying to puzzle everything out. I enjoyed the characters, the storyline, the actions, emotions, and conversations. Luca and Evie make a good couple and I enjoyed the development of their relationship and the bond she formed with his team in the end. I love that she was given a nickname of her own and pulled into their family. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the team's stories and them getting the justice they deserve. Luca’s book was a good start to the series.

This series has quickly become one of my favourite series and a comfort series all at the same time! And I owe it all to Luca for capturing my heart and making me fall in love with his brothers as well.Nyssa is such a captivating writer and the way she captures the emotions of the characters you feel like you are in the world with them or that you could be the main character 😍Will re-read for the 4th time very soon! 💕

I came across this book via a social media ad after I DNF’d a book with some similar tropes. I am so glad I found this book though, the author is an unexpected delight and weaves a story to get lost in. Luca and Evie have their own traumas to work through, but also both still deserve a happily ever after. It was clear that the author was setting up the other characters for their own stories and development, and I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
