Oh my, these exceeded my expectations. They were beautiful! I had asked if two were curtain tie back sized and yes, they are! I got some beautiful sizes. I didn't need tie backs after all, so I'm going to use them for decor instead. Starfish are real, and fragile, so be careful taking them out of the package. I didn't notice any smell, but then I didn't stick my nose close to them.

They are real starfish and are therefore fragile but the packaging was nothing but a bubble wrap envelope and therefore some of the starfish were broken when they arrived. They are beautiful, however.

Smaller than anticipated and very thin/skinny. Soft, delicate baby-blue/baby-green coloring - would have needed to paint to match ‘beach color scheme’. Returned.

I was very disappointed when I received my package of starfish, four of the starfish were broken into pieces because they are all stuffed into one small bag. Otherwise I was pleased with quality of those that were still in good condition.

We used these as wedding decor. They were carefully packaged and exactly as described. I will use them for future craft projects.

Didn't want to use dead starfishes since they can be brittle, and I don't want to contribute to ecosystem depletion. These proved to be very hardy with a nice shade of teal to decorate a wedding treasure box.

I love these. I live near the beach. I don't want a totally beachy beach house as I live here year round and I would get tired of a total beach theme. But I do have subtle beach accents in each room. I have a lovely abstract picture in my bathroom with vibrant blues, greens and reds. I've hung these little guys on the wall next to the picture. I've gotten many compliments.

If you buy these be very patient if you decide to keep because of the smell. It took days and different processes to get the smell to go away.
