perfect wave maker
after buying like 5 or maybe 6 wave maker i finally found what works best for me I have a 75G Tank and most of the wave makers were eighter too weak or too strong . bought them compare to their power and GPH but None of them were what I was exactly looking for this wave maker is great. strong enough to move the debris on the sand but not moving the sand and mess it up. I will make an update on this wave maker in 3 month based on the performance.

Powerful… Too powerful
Nothing bad about this powerhead. It’s just too strong for my tank! The specs say 10-50 gallon. I have a 26 gallon reef and even at the lowest setting, it was blowing sand everywhere 😐Unfortunately it’s too good I guess..

Powerful Powerhead
This powerhead is powerful. It is not for a 10 - 30 gallon unless you need maximum flow to were plants and corals need to be blasted, lol. It would be good for a gallon long tank. I have a saltwater tank with LPS corals, and I must say I had to play with the powerhead a lot to find the right spot. I only wish it can be adjusted below 30%. Other than that, this is a great powerhead to have in your tank for MAXIMUM flow.

Moves some water....
At first blush this seemed like an acceptable product for the price when compared to the "known" brands. The control box offers 4 different operational modes and a timed feed setting.Sounds good so far.....Until you realize that the dial to set the timing of the operating patterns has about 5 seconds of overall adjustability (and thats being generous). For all intents and purposes its pretty much just an automated on/off switch. Not for nothing but waves don't happen in less than 5 second intervals in any ocean i have ever been in.....The real killer though is the interesting habit this thing has of some how, some way, possibly through some sort of capillary action, sucking water from the pump body through the void space between the insulaion and wires of the power lead back to the control box, making it not function at all. Takes about two weeks to fail after each time you seperate the power lead at it's "water-proof" connecter and let it dry for a few days.BTW, The cnnecter is in fact water proof......when you seperate it you can actually pour about a mililiter of water out of it....As a final insult added to the injury my bum feels from this purchase, it's noisey. Noisey enough to take all semblence of normal behavior by my fish and chase it (and them) into hiding for the first couple days after putting this thing into service, or reintroducing it after drying it out so it functions again.

Pump
The adhesive pad is not strong enough to hold the controller to a panel. The pump is strong and effective?

Cheap fix
I like that this has a controller for intensity, wave pattern, day/night time mode and a fish feeding pause function. However, the unit is poorly designed, as the button cover adhesive is not working well and control panel is misaligned. I’ve own two these and the first broke within 60 days. I contacted the seller and they made it right. I would recommend that if you to go to with another brand if you want high quality, durability, reliability. If your on a tight budget and need a wave maker that just agitates the water with a little more water than basic functionality then this is the one for you, but be warned you will have to purchase one every year or two.

Powerful, over 18 months and working fine on a 50 gallon saltwater tank.
So far this pump has worked well for me. I like the ramp up and down of the wavemaker. Does a good job of circulating water in 50 gallon cube.

What a piece of rubbish
I purchased this product because I have been having issues with the Jebao brand of wave makers not lasting more than about 6 months in my marine tank. I wanted to change brands to see if I could find something better, but this item, which I only installed yesterday (october 5) , does not run as it should. None of the settings seem to work any good. It just runs on one setting with the variable speed the only adjustment I can make. A complete waste of my money. A $ 16 power head would do the same job.
