Fits older Greenworks 36v electric mower lead acid battery
I couldn't find a good charger to replace cheap ones that are made for the older Greenworks 36v electric mower lead acid battery. Just pull battery up out of mower & it connects to that terminal - DON'T use old charge port/terminal. Make sure + / - is on correctly. Seems to work best if plug battery to charger 1st and then plug in to outlet. Works EXCELLENT & much faster charge.

No complaints. It's only 5A so don't expect it to charge a fully dead cart overnight, it might take a full day or so. For nightly charging, it's perfect.

5 AMP charger, a little slow, but works great for the right price
Bought this to recharge our 1990 EZGO MARATHON Golf Cart. Being old and in rough condition we didn't want to overspend on fixing it. We removed the old damaged and leaking 6 x 6V batteries & replaced them with 3 x 12v deep cycle batteries. After rewiring & replacing the solenoid and resistor, the unit worked great but we had no charger. I took the chance on this charger and it works great. It charges these batteries up to 38.4 volts then goes into float mode. Green light indicates fully charged. Upon checking, it reads exactly 38.4 volts. It also floats so if the voltage drops, it turns back on and charges until they top off. These are SLA batteries so the slow charges doesn't overheat them. Time will tell whether it will last but it's small, light and convenient to store on the cart when we travel.

Works Great on my 1988 EZGO Marathon!
This charger really charges my 36V batteries better than my original factory charger. The factory charger, while faster, would only charge the batteries up to about 37.1 VDC. This charger takes them up to 44.5VDC. At first, I could not get it to switch to the full charge mode even after charging twice for over 24 hours at a time. I contacted the seller and they gave me instructions for tweaking the setting so that the charger shuts off at 44.5VDC. Apparently that is the limit for my particular batteries. The seller was responsive and solved my issue. My batteries are 2 1/2 years old. I also use a Battery Life Saver that I purchased here on Amazon.I drove my cart around the neighborhood for about 1/2 hour and it had more juice than before. It still had a higher charge at the end than the full charge from my factory charger.I recommend this charger. Thanks! :)
