For when rulers are too short
This has saved me loads of time for measuring corner to corner cuts on boards longer than even my longest ruler. Just tack one end in place, stretch the line to necessary measurement and length, then pull and let the line snap a chalk line in which to use as a guide to make your next cut.

What a completely frustrating thing to use. The cheap China string breaks on every use! Stay away.

rope gets stuck even with the best powder and i reel it all and tried random reel or very miticulous reel, it always end up stuck or clunky to reel in...
