I have gone through several different phone mounting devices for a car over the years. They normally fail after the suction cup and plastic phone holder warp after being left in the car for several months. The Bracketron NavGrip XL Car Dash Window Mount Holder is different. It has two pieces, the suction cup and the phone mount. The suction cup is made with an adhesive material that easily sticks to the glass window or dash and requires no pressure to attach.. To complete the attachment, there is a handle that applies a little pressure to the suction cup. If you need to move it, reverse the attachment process and the suction cup mount comes off with some effort. The phone holder holds a wide range of phones and they are very secure once in place. I've used this phone holder several times in different vehicles and have not had any problems with how it works. The only downside to this mounting system is if the car window is too far away from where you are seated and you need to reach for it..

I love the versatility of this product in that I do not have to buy a new one if my phone size changes. I alsolike that I do not have to put the metal plates to my phone or case. In the past the metal plate ones did not holda larger phone well. The grip on this is very strong. If you are on a road trip and using another person’s GPS for someit holds any phone.

I was looking at this at a local store, and the price on Amazon was significantly lower. So far so good. I've used it for about a month. The suction weakened and it came off once on a really hot day, but other than that it's been awesome. Love having my phone handy to use for a GPS.

My husband really likes this for holding his tablet. He is a truck driver and his company switched from Qualcomm to tablets but they didn't supply a holder. He has been using this for a couple weeks now and he hasn't had a problem with it. Reccomended. Fast shipping. Thank you!

Very good grip. I do not know how long it will last, but for now is very good. I like that the part that holds the GPS looks with the mounting plate in the back of the unit. No slides out. This is a good security feature. Recommendid.

I have been trying to find a mount for my IPhone 6 plus since I started using a Griffin Survivor on it. This mount works very well for my IPhone 6 plus. My only complaint is the mount is not long from the base. If you are looking for a mount for bigger phones, this is your mount!

Got it today. Looks sturdy, but will not fit an iPhone 7 Plus without a tension level that makes me fear for the integrity of the phone. Would really have helped to have the actual max length capacity listed.
