Kids love the book, but the print quality is shocking.
We're running full pelt through the warrior cats books - kids love them, and won't miss a night of reading.I mislaid one of the books from the set, so ordered this as an emergency replacement. The story is what you'd expect, but this version's (US version apparently) print quality is shocking. The paper is see through, really thin, and text feels smudged. Now finished it, and moved onto the next Warrior Cats book (UK version), and the feel of the pages and book in general is much higher quality.Buy the book, but get the UK version if you can.

WHAT?!
Okay, let's settle this. What can be better than a bunch of cats living in a forest being hunted by a bunch of dogs. I mean, hmm… who cant deny that Rusty/Firepaw/Fireheart/Firestar has ALOT of weight on his shoulders? The only thing that is bad about this book is that there is nothing bad. I also felt the same nervousness as Fireheart was feeling when he tried to lead the dogs into the gorge.I even screamed (into my pillow) for Fireheart to watch out when Tigerclaw became leader of Shadowclan! XD (LOL) I was REALLY scared about those 'dogs'. (cough cough abominations cough cough) And i do feel sorry for Lostface. this is so good and filled with amazing ideas that i think Erin Hunter got this from real life! (99.9% not true but i like to think it, if it is not true, please dont tell me)Daniel (10)

AMAZING!!!!!!
I am a little bit sad that Bluestar died and Brightpaw/Lostface :(/Brightheart had her face wrecked by the dogs but it was a great read.I especially loved the bit when Bluestar died with Mistyfoot and Stonefur with her. I wonder what would have happened if Swiftpaw lived…An amazing read for cat lovers but read the first one, into the wild,first!!<('-')>

An astounding novel, just like the rest of the series.
This book promises the same astonishment you feel when you read the other books in this series. Packed with suprises, jaw-dropping situations and unbelievable secrets, the story is difficult to stop reading. But above all, the amazing descriptions - the forests, the scents and sounds, the feelings and emotions, the thundering of the cats rushing into battle -make this novel come to life.
