Q: What is the measurement from the bottom shelf to the floor?

Angela....it is 33" from floor to the first shelf. It fits perfect around the toilet. The only things I dont like is the color (its dark gray) & the wired shelves. I was really looking for glass shelves only because things stay nicer on it. Hope this info helps! :)

Q: How high off the ground is the lowest shelf?

The lowest shelf is 36" from the ground (fits well above the toilet.) there is a bar you see running across the bottom which only to stabalize the spacesaver and it is 7" from the ground. The product will work without this stabalizer bar but it does make it steadier.
